Story
From Borrower to wizard, Tom Felton's adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame saw him catapulted into the limelight aged just twelve when he landed the iconic role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. Speaking with candour and his own trademark humour, Tom shares his experience of growing up on screen and as part of the wizarding world for the very first time. He tells all about his big break, what filming was really like and the lasting friendships he made during ten years as part of the franchise.

I listened to this because I’m a massive Potter fan and who doesn’t want to hear from one of the cast labour their time making those movies. I absolutely loved all those stories and found myself laughing through a lot of it. What I didn’t expect was the last few chapters of the book where things got really hard for Tom. I loved how honest and open he was. As a person who suffers from mental health issues I feel strongly that by sharing our stories it helps others. It was very courageous and very moving and I’m grateful Tom shared his story.

I already knew I loved this series before listening to the audiobooks because I’d read them myself, but Mac Rae takes these books to a whole other level. I’m talking out of the stratosphere next level. His performance is incredible!!! All the different accents and voices are done to perfection. These authors and this narrator are a match made in heaven.

Story
I’m not sure how it happened, but it turns out I’ve unknowingly been dating three people. Friends don’t spoil other friends, apparently. My trust fund means I can afford to, though, and what’s a meal here and there? Or some clothes? Or textbooks? That doesn’t mean we’re dating, right? Others disagree. If I want to get through the rest of college knowing who my friends are, I need help from someone who knows all about dating and can tell me what not to do. Someone like Mr. Romance.

Enjoyable and thought provoking

I loved both Clare and Teddy. Teddy is a beta hero which I absolutely love. He is intelligent, thoughtful and of course head of heels for Clare but of course faint told her. Clare is plagued by a curse of going mad, like her mother and aunt, and of course won’t admit her love for Teddy because she wants to protect him from what she feels is her impending madness. A very sweet friends to lovers romance with some interesting witches and magic to make the story interesting. Definitely worth a listen!

I just finished listening to Courting Poppy Tidemore and WOW! I swear at one point it felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest! I laughed (out loud whilst walking around with earbuds in), I cried, and I felt a whole tide of emotions. It was nothing like I expected, but I enjoyed it so much more because of that. Tims performance was magnificent. I LOVED this book so much. It made a very, very busy day, a joy
