great story

This is a wonderful story line but the narration really needs editing. The narrator made mistake after mistake and clapped or snapped her fingers every single time and then repeated the line or word. There are parts in chapter 7, 8 and 9 that every other word is fumbled or mispronounced or the inflection is incorrect and the narrator claps and tries again. Editing these errors out is what should have happened unfortunately it did not. I skipped through several parts because I got tired of all the clapping and repetitions.

Story
The meet-cute award goes to dog groomer Juliet Nolan. It’s one of Hollywood’s biggest nights when she volunteers as a seat filler and winds up next to movie heartthrob Noah freaking Douglas. Tongue-tied and toes curling in her pink Converse, she pretends that she doesn’t have a clue who he is. It’s the only way to keep from swooning. She’s pretty and unpretentious, loves his dog, and is not a worshipping fan. No way Noah’s giving up on her, even if his affectionate pursuit comes with a bump: Juliet has a pathological fear of kissing....

What a wonderful story. I truly recommend this book. Even if you have not read Jane Austen's "Persuasion", I believe this book can stand on it's own.
I must say the narration was brilliant and gave life to the characters.

For 170 years, Edward Fairfax Rochester has stood as one of literature's most complex and captivating romantic heroes. Sometimes cruel, sometimes tender, Jane Eyre's mercurial master at Thornfield Hall has mesmerized, beguiled, and, yes, baffled fans of Charlotte Brontë's masterpiece for generations. Great, but editing of audiobook chapter 43 needed
Reviewed: 01-20-23
I loved this book but chapter 43 was cut off abruptly shortly after the "Mohammed part". It skipped several pages of the end of chapter 43 and skips onto chapter 44. Luckily for me, I have this on ebook format as well so I was able to see what wss skipped over on the audiobook.

Story
Imagine if you made one little mistake when you were young and were punished for it for the rest of your life. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. We meet Lydia just as she is denounced by her family, exiled miles from home, and married to the rogue George Wickham, who seems to love all women...except his own wife.

Story
For Elizabeth Bennet, Charlotte is the friend who is—annoyingly—always right. Colonel Fitzwilliam is the mischievous brother she never had. And if their convictions that Mr. Darcy is in love with her are correct, he could be the lover she’s always wanted. There’s only one problem—he tried to ruin her favorite sister’s life, and she made an absolute fool of herself in front of him. Can lasting happiness come out of such a beginning? And can a man die from chasing a woman too quick to be caught? Darcy is about to find out.

Ms Elizabeth Grace is a wonderful narrator and is a great job bringing the story to life. There was a tiny editing stumble but it didn't affect the overall performance.
