Story
Flower shop owner Ellie McEwan is driving home late one frosty November night when a shadowy figure leaps into the road out of nowhere. Ellie swerves to avoid him — and slams head-on into the crash barrier. Days later, Ellie wakes up in hospital — and notices there’s something different. Everyone she looks at — the doctor, the nurse, her friend Carole — is surrounded by a coloured aura. Her near-death experience seems to have given her a new ability. And now Ellie must use her new-found gift to catch a killer.

wow

wow. first book???? are you sure? it was amazing and believable and had me invested in the characters and story line. I have had too many spiritual experiences that make all of the instances in this book very believable and very possible. I crossed my deceased son over and I can attest that the auras are very real and the feelings they invoke. looking forward to more.

Story
Gabriel Ferrara is tall and handsome, and most days she wants to stab her eyes out with a pencil, anything to stop her seeing his perfection. How any female could work in these conditions and not be completely besotted with him is beyond her. Then he opens his mouth and she remembers why. He's bossy and sarcastic, with a wit so sharp it could cut glass. Every weekend is the same . . . while he's off living his dream life, she's counting down the days until Monday when she sees him again.

Nightmares come to lif
Reviewed: 01-25-24
This series does touch on a very real issue on trafficking children and the very real things that can and do happen to them. If people in these reviews think these things don't exist in our world, then they have their heads in the sand. Atlas' situation, yeah, I can see someone seeing/experiencing the very last straw and snapping, just like that out of the blue. It happens. These are very real characters, that I find I can believe that things like this can happen in the real world. Off the books, black ops are a thing. That said, this book can give someone nightmares and make you cry, then pump your fists in victory. Non stop action.

Story
We were only kids when my brothers and I were forced to the streets and into the shadows, harboring a dark secret we had every intention of taking to our graves. That's when a pact was made, a brotherhood formed. We fought, we bled, but in the end we survived. All because one man took in three homeless boys and loved what no one else wanted. Now, years later, the past we thought was dead and buried emerges with a vengeance, bringing a blue-eyed angel with it.

Story
I was supposed to be in charge. That was always my intention. Until that slick corporate raider, Ethan Bradford, clicked his fancy pen and poof! Just like that, I was under him, instead of on top. Rich and powerful men - especially arrogant, handsome ones - are all the same. I know exactly how to handle him, but when my father pulls rank and orders me to play nice, my plans of putting him in his place vanish. I know his type. I've been around men like him my entire life, but one chance meeting with him and his son, makes me question everything I thought I knew.
