Story
Cracking the communication code between husband and wife involves understanding one thing: that unconditional respect is as powerful for him as unconditional love is for her. It's the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. While both men and women deserve both love and respect, in the midst of conflict the driving need for a woman is love and the driving need for a man is respect. When either of these needs isn’t met, things get crazy. Based on over three decades of counseling, as well as scientific and biblical research, Love and Respect is for anyone.

What a blessed resource!

This book was recommended to me by my bestie because her church was reading it for their Bible study. I can't tell you how immediately I was encouraged. I have a big, hairy audacious dream that God has placed inside of me. I have been scared to do the things required ... being stopped by giants and unbelief. Not anymore.
Along with the Bible, this book will be a resource on the journey toward my Big Dream.
I loved how Bruce narrated the stor, his story. I listened to part 1 first, then listened again switching back and forth between the story and the life application. Wow, how powerful to listen in that way. Often, I had to replay chapters 11, 12, and 13 to take copious notes.
I highly recommend this book to encourage you to grow your relationship with God, to challenge your fears, to grow your faith and trust in God, and to support you on your journey of life and toward your Big Dream!
Well done!

This was a very captivating book. I was hooked from beginning to end and find myself struggling to write a review that does the book justice. Wow! I listened to the book nearly a month before my book club discussion and have no doubt that I will remember everything. Will definitely highly recommend this.

Do you yearn for a consistent prayer life? Do you struggle with distraction when praying alone, timidity when praying with others, or knowing where to start in either setting? Best-selling writer and beloved speaker Chrystal Evans Hurst knows both the freedom and blessing of establishing and growing a lively prayer life and how difficult it can be when prayer itself feels foreign to our daily lives. The Bible tells us that prayer is essential for an intimate and thriving relationship with God, and it's well worth the time and effort it deserves.

Wow! Just wow! There were parts I could knew were coming, not in a predictable way, but more in an understandable nature. I enjoyed the richness of the character development and could appreciate everyone's flaws and idiosyncrasies. The story was completely told with nothing missing, Strange how I don't want more, because of the well written story, but at the same time am sad that it ended.
Awesome piece of work!

Great story despite the narration

Very intriguing and captivating storyline. I was determined not to let the narration ruin it for me. However, the unnatural pauses and weird points of emphasis were almost as annoying as the book was good.
The pace of the story moved very well. It didn't feel drawn out or rushed at the end. "Get this money.", was dramatically overused. However, despite the drawbacks, overall I enjoyed the book and would listen to another by the author...NOT the narrator (sorry). Nice voice though.
Glad Fiona got what she deserved. I was totally shocked by Proof's demise, but it helped to make a happy ending for the Blacks.
Nice work.
