Loved this book! It's not easy to take some of these subject matters - substance abuse, overdose, best friend's girl - and make it into a compelling story that doesn't overwhelm you with grief. But Natasha does so beautifully. It's a fabulous story with character growth that holds your interest from the first word. Narrators are top notch as usual

If you liked the first 2 books in this series, you'll love this. I thought it would get repetitive pushing the MFM relationship, but just like any other series it has a completely different storyline that brings them all together. It's fun. She's sweet but sassy and these 2 men are HOT and so loving. A quick listen with fabulous narration

Welcome back to Briar U! We get to revisit some of the all time favorite characters (Garrett, Hannah, Dean, Logan) and meet the next generation. Garrett and Hannah's daughter Gigi is first up. She's a tenacious hockey player and a dynamic character. The H, Luke Ryder, has many layers and is also a complex person. As usual, Kennedy brings out many emotions with drama and comedy. Their relationship is refreshing. Some fun new characters. I look forward to more from this generation. Narrators were perfection

I love the Pucked family and this continuation with the next generation. BJ and Winter might have just stolen the title of favorite couple of all time. They have ups and downs and real life problems. But their attitudes and devotion to each other is amazing. I couldn't stop listening. Narrators were fabulous as usual

Hockey romance perfection

The hockey part of this hockey romance was not the main focus. But the story is original and writing compelling. Two broken people try hard not to lean on one another but their magnetic pull is strong. And oh how strong they are together. There are a lot of subplots in this book and some triggers (mental illness, child neglect, sexual assault). Each of these heavy topics is told with care and done excellently. Both H/h are strong characters with real flaws. But that is the beauty of them.
Narrators are fabulous as usual. Connor Crais is in a class of his own. Best of the best!

I didn't expect much from this book and was very pleasantly surprised. The H and h characters were realistic and easy to love. They weren't perfect and embraced the flaws of each other. Like many romance novels you have to suspended reality at times but they make it easy.

The secondary characters push the book to 5 stars. There's an obvious fan favorite in Henry but they're all fantastic and could provide an entire series of awesomeness!

I'm conflicted about this book. The premise is very interesting and the writing is very good. But it's hard to suspend disbelief in some areas - like the big plot issue. It's hard to believe this would actually blow up in this way, especially considering Lisa (main character)'s dad is a doctor. But still, holding that back, it is fast paced and interesting. Some of the "twists" are a bit non-sensical and seem thrown in for the sake of extra surprises. I found this book frustrating but also engaging

This book is long but it's also realistic in so many ways. Yeah, suspend belief in certain rock star ways, but there interpersonal relationships and the raw feelings are so real. Narration was great bringing characters to life

And a quirky heroine. Love how Tilly didn't care at all who Coen was our that he's famous. He was just Coen.
This entire series is very interesting, with the whole basis starting with the plane crash. It has opened some really difficult and complicated storylines. No one tackles them better than Sawyer Bennett. She's one of the best authors around and corn is maybe the best of the series so far. Can't wait for more!

Secret ex-wife and HOT operator

HOT Secrets is book #2 for Strike Team 2 by Lynn Raye Harris. I always recommend that you read/listen to the books for Strike Team 1 (9 books), HOT SEAL Team (8 books) and Blacks Bandits (7 books) as well. The only one necessary before this is HOT Angel, strike team 2 book #1. HOT Secrets is a second chance romance, which is hit or miss with me. It is not always my favorite plot, but if done right it can be awesome. This book features Sky of the HOT team and his ex-wife, Bliss. The HOT team was not aware of Bliss or that Sky was married until she storms back into his life. The premise of the story is interesting, with Bliss being a world-class hacker and in danger after a job with the CIA. The job goes awry, obviously and the only person Bliss believes can help her is Sky. Their banter and relationship are witty and fun. Sky and his team help unravel what happened with the job and why Bliss is in danger.
What I loved:
❤ The way Sky and Bliss play off of each other and banter.
❤ Characters from past books making appearances (always my favorite in LRH novels).

What I didn't love:
😐 The couple’s marriage ended because neither listened to one another and made their own conclusions. That’s my least favorite scenario in second chance (or any) romances. It’s so frustrating when the “problem” can be taken care of in a 2 minute conversation.

🎯Overall: Another fun listen from Lynn Raye Harris. The book is fast-paced and an easy listen. Fans of HOT will love it.
