Story
The assassination of the chief judge has pushed the Capitol to the edge. The Great Extermination has spread to all the land. The casteless must be annihilated. Their only hope is the fallen Protector Ashok Vadal. But Vadal is being held prisoner on the island of Fortress. In order to save those who need him most, he must escape and find his way across the demon-infested sea and return to Thera, the prophet of an illegal and forgotten god. It is she who has sent the Sons of the Black Sword to war against the warrior caste, hoping to buy time until Vadal’s return.

The Saga of the Forgotten Warrior is incredible work; you can always tell when you find yourself emotionally invested in the characters and this saga has done that.
This has been an amazing auditory treat, just like the rest. I can’t wait to read/listen to Book 5.

Thank you!

Thank you for giving Josephine Baker her just due for her actions in the Second World War and for remarking on the woeful way that we tell history in this country! I am a Black American and I was always told of the massacres that happened here in Georgia and of the many that took place throughout the country. There were so many, my parents would forget the names. And the ones you named are just the ones we can verify. We cannot move forward in this country without fully understanding our past and those violent conflicts are a part of it.

Incredible Series

The detail in the writing in all three volumes is exceptional and the author takes great pains in building the world, levels, and history behind each. I’ve enjoyed watching the MC push himself beyond his limits to forge a new path for humanity with all the accompanying twists and turns. CANNOT WAIT for volume 4.

Story
Vainqueur Knightsbane is your average dragon: A giant, fire-breathing lizard who loves to take naps on his golden hoard, kidnap princesses for fun, and make the life of adventurers miserable. Vainqueur's only pleasure in life is to watch his treasure get bigger, one coin at a time. So when a would-be thief turned unwilling minion tells him about "classes", "levels", and "quests", Vainqueur wonders if maybe, just maybe, he should consider a career change. After all, why bother hunting monsters for free when you can get paid for it?

Eighteen-year-old Aidan Salt isn't a superhero. With his powerful (and unpredictable) telekinetic abilities, he could be one if he wanted to, but he doesn't. He's unambitious, selfish, and cowardly, and he doesn't want to have to deal with all the paperwork required to become a professional superhero. But since the money, fame, and women that come with wearing the cape are appealing, he decides to become the first supervillain the world has seen in more than 20 years: Apex Strike.

Seriously one of the best LitRPG series I have picked up in a while. Can’t wait for the next one, so I’ll be listening to this one again very soon.

This series never ceases to disappoint. The character development is incredible, the distinct differences in how they are written and performed, and the way the story pulls you in with its twisted and turns makes for an auditory feast for the ears and a needle pusher for the brain. Diving back in for my second listen. Can’t wait for the next one!
