Meditations by Marcus Aurelius The New Translation of a Classic Philosophical Text, Known for Self-Help to Self-Examination From the Foreword: "Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was a Roman emperor and Stoic philosopher who reigned from 161 AD to 180 AD, alongside his adoptive brother, Lucius Verus. Poor quality,

It’s almost like the people that present. This book are trying to rewrite it in some really stupid and silly ways, but that’s usually what happens when you use AI to do stuff for you. Poor quality, not appropriate, and not even true to the meaning of the work. They go way off topic, by using examples of modern pop culture, such as using the spelling of aunt Jemima‘s name- further I got into the book, the lower the quality of the readings- I’m gonna have to look for a translation that actually reflects the meaning and the quality and the context of the actual reflections of Marcus Aurelius - this is utterly dumb

The fake voice reading the book doesn’t really help either AI always sounds kind of crappy - but as someone who has done more research on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder than the average person - peer reviewed research, clinical research, evidence base practice research - some of the suggestions that would just work fine for a corner “normal people don’t really hold water” medication combined with cognitive behavioral therapy and long-term coaching is what the evidence shows really works
