Just what I didn’t know I wanted

The reader’s voice took a little getting used to. I don’t think it’s the same narrator as the first book in the series so that was odd. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to the physic book of deliverance Dane so I might be wrong but it still took some getting used to. I really loved the story though.

But it's not told in a fun way and the narrator is WAY to airy and I have a high tolerance for that.

I like the story and the slow romance. People fall in love too quickly in novels but not this one.
Which character – as performed by Kate Reading – was your favorite?
I liked Dane and Jess. I hated Bertie Trent, it was horrible and I cringed every time. Without that it would have been a perfect performance.

I knew it wouldn't end well but still I had hoped. Aside from that I loved the fact that it was essentially a well researched biography wrapped in a novel. Very clever and entertaining.

I've begun reading this book many many times but I just couldn't stay focused on it. The audio was perfect. I could listen as I crocheted keeping both my hands and my mind occupied.

You know when you see/hear something that drives you crazy and you want it to stop but you can't turn it off and walk away? That's this book. I was hooked quickly and couldn't leave even though the characters were unrealistic and borderline crazy. It made me want to get a psychology degree and then jump inside their world to teach them about a little thing called communication. Maybe when a man says "you're mine" you should ask him what he means by that. And maybe rather than telling a girl "you're not allowed to leave" you should tell her that she is important to you and you would rather she stay. They are a mess but, like bad reality television, I can't look away even though I want to wring their necks.
I must admit, I'll download the next book, right after I watch Dance Moms.
