Great concepts with mediocre to bad execution.

Frustrating to listen to because of the low quality story telling. But interesting enough conceptually that I ordered the next three books.

This book was not written by a human. It’s like those really terrible YouTube videos ready by AI voices in weird English. Ready all the five star ratings to get an idea of how it’s written. I returned after wasting a few hours of my life thinking that surely it will get better

What is wrong with this book?
Reviewed: 09-21-20
This is the most disjointed and poorly written book in the series so far. I hope the rest of them aren’t like this. Why did they record this one but not the earlier books? Also a vice admiral of the red is a very serious rank so why does he mention it’s such a junior rank like three dozen times. The only thing worse than a poorly told story is one which has some much potential poorly done

With Give and Take, Adam Grant not only introduced a landmark new paradigm for success but also established himself as one of his generation’s most compelling and provocative thought leaders. In Originals he again addresses the challenge of improving the world, but now from the perspective of becoming original: choosing to champion novel ideas and values that go against the grain, battle conformity, and buck outdated traditions. How can we originate new ideas, policies, and practices without risking it all?

Great concept!
Reviewed: 08-24-18
Mike is one of the best business authors because like Dave Ramsey for consumers he creates easy to understand simplified concepts and explains them clearly while never deviating from the strategy. There aren’t a million subtle exceptions. This means the reader has to make the strategy fit their unique business, but because the strategies are so clear that is easy to do. Sometimes the humor goes a little to far off the deep end for me but that’s my only complaint.

Reviewed: 01-25-18
Why did the author commit an atrocity against the two main protagonists. It is ok for not everything to have a happy ending, but you just don’t do what he did! Especially when it doesn’t even fit the character or the story arc. Pissed off that he ruined an awesome story
