Not my cup of tea

I picked this book because the story seemed intriguing. How can you go wrong with Teddy and Andi. Two of the best narrators in the business. This story was way too long. The amount of times Jesus's name was used was excessive. The details were long and too descriptive. The story lost me until the end. That was the interesting part. Three epiloguues ??? Just not for me.

The days of enjoying books with lots of text messages are over. It is tiring. That being said, this is a book about high schoolers, so it makes sense. I did enjoy the story and the narration.

The beat. The cheers. The thrill of the unknown. I shouldn’t leave the safety of the music arena—my last name is McKallister, after all, and I’m intimately familiar with worst-case scenarios. But I’m drawn by the talent and the turmoil behind the weary eyes of the drummer on the streets. I’ve never seen anyone my age as wild and unrestrained, a lightning bolt of electricity that never hits the same spot on his bucket drums twice. He plays with such confidence, such rage. I have to know who he is and where he learned to bang out drum solos like he owns the night. I want to help him.

What's not to love

Say it isn't so. The last book in the Cake series. Truly loved it. The story flowed well. it had all the right everything to make it worthy of my credit. I love this series. I re-listen to all of the books very often. Jill is a great storyteller. Zachary and Andi are simply the best. Throughly enjoyed this final story.

Out of the past six years of my life, I only remember about half of it. After a dozen doctors and thousands in medical bills, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder - one that causes me to lose track of time. Sometimes it's hours, days or even weeks with no recollection of anything. The good thing is it's been almost two years since I had my last blackout. It sounds much better than what the doctors refer to them as, episodes, like my life is a freakin' comedy.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was quite different from other books I have listened to and it was narrated by my favorite male narrator Zach Webber/Jacob Morgan!!! I finished the entire series.

Start with a great story. Twist and turns and unexpected revelations. The right amount of heat.. Lots of romance. Then add two fantastic narrators Erin and Connor.... stir and you have a recipe for this book to be added to my favorites list. Great job Aly!!

I really enjoyed this book. The story was well written and had me engaged from start to finish. It was full of humor and had just enough heat. It would be nice to get a second book for Leo's cousin. The final win, win, was Jacob and Andi. They are two of my favorites. Who doesn't like hearing Jacob with an accent. Please use this duo often. They are talented and know how to bring characters to life.

Enjoyed this series. I was hooked from the first words read. The story was well written and flowed well. A great listen that includes two of my favorite narrators. Erin and Teddy are spot on. I was very happy that the narration for all three books were done by Teddy and Erin.. They truly know how to bring characters to life.

The man I fell in love with is a f--king liar. I don't have much time to reveal all the details, but I will say this: The "Woman disappears after wedding" and "Woman flees after honeymoon" headlines are lying. I'm not missing. I didn't run away after my wedding. I would've never run away right after our amazing honeymoon.

Great read and listen. I was invested from beginning to end. Enjoyed this departure from the normal HEA. Muffy and Joe did an outstanding job bringing these characters to life. Definitely recommend this book.

What a great book

This book is one of my favorites. Although the subject matter is dark, the story was well written and grabbed me from beginning to end. My heart broke for the main character and it was great to have a story where you were unsure til the end who the victim really was. The shift between timelines was handled well. Finally, the narrators were spot on. Jason and Erin are two if my favorites. I highly recommend this book.
