Story
Downsized from her job. Dumped by her boyfriend. Depressed about that upcoming 60th birthday. Not a good week for Andi McConnell. But now there's good news: She's just inherited a limousine, a long, sleek, black limousine, from an eccentric uncle. There's also bad news: The dead body that soon turns up in the trunk. And Andi is the top suspect in the murder. Enter Keegan "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, former TV detective, very interested in the case - and in Andi.

Story
As a medical examiner, Serena Hopkins is used to dealing with death. But that doesn't make it any easier when she's called to the eerie scene of a murder - especially when Serena realizes that she knows the victim. Nearly as unnerving is the presence of FBI agent Dominic Allen, her childhood crush. As evidence mounts and points to a serial killer with disturbingly familiar methods, Serena and Dominic must work to find a pattern and stop the killings before the murderer strikes again.

LOVE the story. I'm excited to hear future stories to see what happens with the task force. Hoping for continued story lines. The author never disappoints.
The reader wore on me. It was hard for me to keep listening at times because of the voice. No one is that sorrowful, sad, whiny allllllllllllll the time. uggggg Dee Henderson, Please change the reader for the Evie Blackwell series!! :( Maybe Tom Strechschulte? Devon Oday? Stefan Rudnicki? All these readers are way better and easier to listen to. They definately don't make the male characters sound like whiny, weak men. Sorry Johanna......

Story
The Baxters make plans to come together for a summer lakeside reunion, a celebration like they haven’t had in years. But before the big day, the unthinkable happens. As the Baxter family rallies together, memories come to light in the grief-stricken hours of waiting and praying, memories that bring healing and hope during a time when otherwise darkness might have the final word.

Nice review.....is it over? really?
Reviewed: 08-13-12
Would you listen to Coming Home again? Why?
Yes, because I just adore everything Kingsbury! I've listen to all her books that I have at least 3-4 times each.
Have you listened to any of Gabrielle de Cuir and Stefan Rudnicki ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes...the Take One - Four books. They make it easy to listen. I think when the reader changes it's nicer when there is enough readers for each main charactre, or whoever the particular part of the book is referring to in the moment.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes but to mention would be a spoiler. Through tragedy it seems the family is stronger and learns to lean and trust more.
Any additional comments?
It seems to me that Karen leaves herself open for another Baxter series in the future even though this was suppose to be a review of the past and an end to the Baxter Saga.
