Don't bother.

Thiis tiny book uses one chapter telling you how much you're going to learn and three chapters covering very little material. The speaking is much too fast. Disappointing and a waste of money.

Running out of ideas?
Reviewed: 04-25-19
The voice and style of this narrator made it very difficult to listen and actually ruined it. The story wasn't near as good as the prior MacCallister books. Disappointingly, this book is a compilation of many situations from previous MacCallister books. Not sure if the author is lazy or has just run out of ideas.

Story
In this fearlessly honest program, Dr. Susan Jeffers breaks the conspiracy of silence about the real and potential woes of child-rearing and pulls no punches about how difficult parenthood is for many. With care and compassion, she reveals the insidious guilt traps set by some child-care "experts" and the child-centered society we inhabit. She questions many fashionable myths and half-truths that add to a parent's sense of inadequacy and guilt, and offers valuable survival tools to cope with it all.

Negative and Life-Sucking.

I disagree that parenting it's so unenjoyable as she puts it,.... unless the parent is unwilling to swap their "centered only on self and other adults life" for a new good one.

Story
It was a name that caused the most hardened gunmen to break out in a cold sweat: Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie. Pursuing the most wanted men in the Southwest, he knew all too well the dusty trails, the bitter cattle feuds, the desperate killers, and the quiet, weather-beaten towns that could explode into mayhem with the wrong word. He had sworn to carry out the law, but there were times when he had to apply justice with his fists and his guns.

Great stories!

We love these stories. Louis L'Amour does such a good job of simulating Western life stories using his extensive research and creative writing.
