Story
The thrilling sequel to The Immune! The end of the world was only the beginning. Thirteen years have passed since the Medusa plague wiped out nearly 99 percent of the world’s population and pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. Climate change triggered by nuclear skirmishes in the last fevered days of civilization decimated agriculture and livestock, and the hardened survivors battle for what few resources remain. Will Callahan is one of the lucky ones. In his small community in Nebraska, he and his family have access to food, clean water, weapons, and medical care.

Story
Five days ago a rash of bizarre murders swept the country. Senseless. Brutal. Seemingly unconnected. A cop walked into a nursing home and unloaded his weapons on elderly and staff alike. A mass of school shootings. Prison riots of unprecedented brutality. Mind-boggling acts of violence in every state. Four Days Ago the murders increased ten-fold. Three days ago the President addressed the nation and begged for calm and peace. Two days ago the killers began to mobilize. Yesterday all the power went out. Tonight....

glad they weren't my kids
Reviewed: 08-07-21
story was good , at times it dragged on. there were a few things i would have done different. like when the 8 people came and took over the cabin, i would have hid in the woods and took them out one at a time, and stayed there. the kids were annoying, kept asking why and being spoiled , they definitely needed discipline.

Story
You know the future that people in the 1950s imagined we'd have? Well, it happened. In Tom Barren's 2016, humanity thrives in a techno-utopian paradise of flying cars, moving sidewalks, and moon bases, where avocados never go bad and punk rock never existed...because it wasn't necessary. Except Tom just can't seem to find his place in this dazzling, idealistic world, and that's before his life gets turned upside down.

I love the Alex Hawk books. takes me to a simpler life, and helps me get away from the hustle and bustle of real life. But I expected more. you can't tell me that 2 young girls from this time wouldn't have any problems leaving behind phones, cars, showers...exc... not one thing they miss?.. and it started to get to be repetition in some areas. over all it did what it was suppose to, it intertained me. good narration and good storyline. like to see more of Reggie. love that dude.

I dislike movies or books that make you yell at them while you’re listening to them. That’s what this book did to me. Like when you know there is a monster in the closet and the guy opens it to prove you wrong and there is a monster. This gentleman was stupid in this book. Could have been a lot better.

Story
Joseph Denton was a man happy with his life. Oh sure, he would do a few things a little different if he had the chance. If he could get a do-over, he would be an architect instead of a pharmacist. It's not that he doesn't like being a pharmacist, but he always wanted to design buildings. If he could do it one more time, he would make it so his wife and he could have kids. He was sure he would enjoy being a father, but his wife would have loved being a mother even more. More money would be nice, but do-overs don't exist.
