As a gay man in a 9 year relationship, I was thoroughly impressed with the realistic portrayal of their dynamic and how relatable it is.

It’s a book about nothing and everything all at once.
Moving and insightful with a light yet dense mood. Teary eyed into laughter and if you’ve ever identified as any of the title labels, you’ll not only love this book but you’ll appreciate it.

Finish prior to judging

The story brought tears to my eyes, but the story really is one of redemption and closure.
Bound to stir up Self reflection on your own misjudgments and assumptions of motherhood, career, and love.
Strongly recommend finishing the book in it’s entirety prior to passing judgement.
I found my negative assumptions of the “villain” changed dramatically from start to finish.
