It is nott detail enough, too much personal opinion. Still worth reading however. He is a great reporter

Love the reading performances. But I must admit that Pride and Prejudice and Emma are much more engaging reads than Persuasion. Still it is a fine work, especially to one that enjoy British naval history from a female perspective. But this is not the best representation of Jane Austen’s works

Enjoy every minute of it. The science is a bit off. Highly doubt that many “things” that near earth. Nevertheless the author is funny and the performance is amazing :) worth every pennies

Some of his points are very good.

However just because something "works" in real life does not mean his hypothesis (reasons) is correct. He made MANY assumptions, not based on any observations or philosophical reasons, but just what he "thinks" is right and "works"

I don't even doubt him, just the way he draws conclusions are strange to say the least

At least in "Rich dad poor dad" the guy made it clear it was only his opinion. This author used the word "law" far too easily

"Millionaire next door" is way better

Nevertheless, you can learn much from this book if you are not blind to his assumptions.

The performance is excellent

Have you listened to any of Grover Gardner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have, which in my opinion is the best, and that's one reason why I've tried this book

Any additional comments?

No Peter Diamond or Steven Pinker, but all right. The world needs more optimists, but the author is almost dreaming, in my opinion. To say that there will be less war or less hunger in the future, I can easily see…but no war? The book is good, no doubt, but just not a master piece like Abundance. But I am glad that it is Grover Gardner that read it, makes it all worth the time to listen to.
