Story
Could we be living in a time of which there is more prophetic writings than of any period in history? Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been slowly, systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years. The signs can no longer be ignored and Noah is forced to pull his head out of the sand and see things for what they really are.

Paranoia and Conspirocy Theory Run Amuk
Reviewed: 01-15-15
What disappointed you about The Days of Noah?
I was hoping for a realistic economic crisis as a basis and ended up listening to an incredibly paranoid conspiracy theorist rant. Within the first couple a chapters he was spouting idiocy about Sept 11 with theories already debunked, ranting about everything under the sun and coming off as a nut. (And I am a pretty far right wing Republican/Libertarian)
What could Mark Goodwin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Stopped within the first sentence and stopped whipping up fear. I am a pretty conservative person and he makes us all sound like crazy people. He became the worst caricature of a paranoid, anti government, right wing wacko.
What aspect of Kevin Pierce’s performance would you have changed?
The narrator was the only saving grace in this accident of a book.
Any additional comments?
DON'T BUY IT. I really like the book, 299 Days, and was hoping for something similar, but this book is complete drivel, rolled up in a smelly newspaper and sold off the back of a truck. Stay far away!

Story
For two thousand years, cadavers have been involved in science's boldest strides and weirdest undertakings. They've tested France's first guillotines, ridden the NASA Space Shuttle, been crucified in a Parisian laboratory to test the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, and helped solve the mystery of TWA Flight 800. For every new surgical procedure, from heart transplants to gender reassignment surgery, cadavers have been there alongside surgeons, making history in their quiet way.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
My 11 year old son devoured the book and then pleaded for the audio book to listen to as he falls asleep at night!
Waiting for the next one.
