Story
In June 1993, a group of young guerilla filmmakers spent four weeks making Horror Movie, a notorious, disturbing, art-house horror flick. The weird part? Only three of the film’s scenes were ever released to the public, but Horror Movie has nevertheless grown a rabid fanbase. Three decades later, Hollywood is pushing for a big budget reboot.

This is another gemstone in the crown of horror. This does not have the big scary monsters of other horror books on audible. It has a monster, but it’s a slow build to a true horror. I’m blind, I went blind slowly, and that’s horrible. That is this book. The slow and beautiful drawing of the curtain into exactly what you’d expect but. Different. It is well written. Well acted. And perfectly paced. It trucks your mind while protesting the honesty of both film making and modern cinema. I loved. Every. Minute. My only regret is that it ended. Fantastic. Thank you for this book.

Story
How do you kill a Saint? Falcio, Kest, and Brasti are about to find out, because someone has figured out a way to do it and they've started with a friend. The Dukes were already looking for ways out of their agreement to put Aline on the throne, but with the Saints turning up dead, rumors are spreading that the Gods themselves oppose her ascension. Now churches are looking to protect themselves by bringing back the military orders of religious soldiers, assassins, and (especially) Inquisitors - a move that could turn the country into a theocracy.

Sebastian weaves a tale better than most popular fantasy authors, creating a rich vibrant world that draws on its legends as it is laid out bwfore you. i really havw wnjouwd all threw of the books thus far, and find them a happy go to listen for Brasti's upbeat nature or Kast's calm and collected contemplations. excellent seriea, well written, well read, and well deserving of a solid mociw deal!

This is the most powerful book series ever written. a masterpiece, and like all masterpieces it has a life unto itself. I am incredibly sad to see my friends go. I will wake up tomorrow having finished the Wheel of Time. The world will be a little dimmer for it. I would not trade the finishing for riches or glory. To respect a life is to know that all things alive must die. And this book series, the greatest living book series ever written, dies and proves it' was alive all along.

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.

Excellent fantasy story, characters well fleshed out and believable world building combine to make a very memorable experience. Will listen too again once I finish the trilogy. also check out Cycles of Arawn, another good series but not by the same author.
