Hollywood should really look into this series! Instead of recycling and reshooting movies, this would give them a new blockbuster! I
would honestly give this more than five stars if I could. I love the world and the characters. This far in the series they feel like old friends.

This book kept me guessing. All the clues were there, but I didn’t see the pattern. That’s the best kind of mystery to me. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a challenge or just likes an engaging story. Great author and performance!

Just when we thought the threats we were facing might finally be gone, a magical attack forces us to realize we couldn’t be more wrong. As if the supposed “Pureblood” witches would stop trying to take down magical mutts like us. Among them these days is our old friend, Zachary, and if he’s behind the attack he’s right in thinking we haven’t forgotten how he betrayed us. Which may be why he decided to strike first. Like they say, there’s no animal more dangerous than one who fears itself cornered.

Absolutely love this series! The story pulls you in and the characters keep you there! The narration is phenomenal! When you listen, you will see that each voice is clearly separate. She keeps up the pace written by the author and never falters. This author delivers, and then some. Highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys a great story! This series and narrator are a step above! Listen to the whole series as written for the most enjoyment! Can’t wait for the next!

Such sweet relationships between the characters. That almost overshadows the mystery, but not quite. If you are a fan of clean mysteries that are well-written and keep you guessing, get this now! I do recommend listening (or reading) this series in order.

If I could give this more than 5 stars in all three categories I would! This author told a tale that is ripped from everyday life for Alzheimer’s care givers/family members. She did it with such a tender outlook that it is a love story for the ages. The performance was outstanding. Highly recommend this book!
