Equal Rites Audiobook By Terry Pratchett cover art

The best of Sir Terry Pratchett’s stories, read exactly the way you’d imagined it

Equal Rites is one of those books that makes you laugh and weep over the course of a single paragraph. It’s so sweet and ugly and human, in the way that only Pratchett can really capture.

The narrator does a densely gorgeous job with the text. Sure, she does a mean Nanny Ogg. But she dials it back with everything else, letting the story tell itself.

Play this for anyone and everyone in your life who has anything resembling a heart.

I grew up on Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide. To put it succinctly, this adaptation of the Dirk Gently series captures a lot of the imagination and insanity that was banging around his skull when he wrote that first radio play.
