Story
Twenty-four-year-old Saeris Fane is good at keeping secrets. No one knows about the strange powers she possesses or the fact that she has been picking pockets and stealing from the Undying Queen's reservoirs for as long as she can remember. But a secret is like a knot. Sooner or later, it is bound to come undone. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, of legend, of nightmares… but it turns out they're real.

The MFC doesn’t spend a ton of time not “getting” what the MMC is really “saying.”

I love that she “gets” him and understands subtle things about him that give away his true thought. Loved the whole thing.

Story
To secure a human-fae truce, I'm one of five women traveling to their magical kingdom, where we'll be courted by fae aristocracy. We have one month to choose a husband from among them. Only Elion, the arrogant, beastly ice lord, is forbidden. His torturous scars make the other women gasp. His icy words rip them to shreds. His touch is colder than frost. He lurks in the shadows, never coming out into the light. One stolen moment with Elion, and I'm intrigued. A kiss, and I'll do anything to call this brutishly handsome lord mine.

I loved this book. It was read beautifully and didn’t move too fast or slow through the plot. I do hate that it ended and a slight cliff hanger. But not enough to give it less stars.

just wonderful

I love when a male and female narrate the books. And tor thom has the most amazing voice. The characters are fantastic and well written and with the exception of two spots that mess up on the pronouns and the wrong narrator, this book is perfect. I also really enjoy the fact that the lead female role is an older, mature woman. I’m almost 40 and it was actually really nice to have some representation.

Story
In the far reaches of space, you have to keep your guard up to survive. But this gorgeous alien warrior is breaking down my defenses. Three years ago, alien raiders abducted me from Earth. I escaped to a remote trading planet, where I’ve scraped by and kept my identity as a human hidden...until one day, I get caught stealing from a mysterious warrior named Rok. Aliens are dangerous and untrustworthy. Or at least, that’s what I’ve always thought. But Rok is different. Despite being furious that I took something from him, he doesn’t hurt me.

Mackenzie 'Mac' Wharton had agreed to guide a group that had wanted an adventure on her mountain. They got more than they bargained for when they were all abducted by a group of aliens called the Ganglians. Badly beaten and barely alive, Mac finds herself in the arms of the largest male she's ever seen. She should fear him, should be fighting to get away from him, but there was something about the massive male that called to her.

I loved the fact that this book is narrated by more than one person! And with the little sound effects it feels more like the “shows” on the radio that were so poplar in the mid 1900s. It’s a great story line. I’d listened to a few others by the same author and they are all just ask good!
