Having heard this audio drama in full before I can say they took an ok novel and knocked it out of the park. However this "podcast" chops it up and pads the length with recaps and credits.
It's fine if you are listening to an episode a day/week but prevent binging.

The best Alien experience since Aliens
Reviewed: 09-12-20
An amazing prequel to the events of the second Alien movie. Not only does it enrich the background of Hadley's Hope but it also catches the perfect pacing of action and suspense, as well as the inescapable & implacable nature of the Xenomorph.
Truly an excellent experience with great sound effects, scoring, an amazing cast of Voice Actors.

Eh, it alright.
Reviewed: 07-01-20
This book is an awkward one. It feels very stagnant compared to the previous books because it is more introspection, figuring out how best to utilize new and old powers, and overcoming the tenuous situation that Richter was left in at the end of the previous book. If anything this book feels more like a connecting novel for two Arcs. On the bright side so little of the details of story so far affect the minutia of this novel so you don't have to reread the whole series to keep from getting lost.

Story
It started as a routine Miami to Charlotte flight for the passengers, crew, and Federal Air Marshal Stephen Mason. But a freak storm over the Atlantic propels the airliner unexplainably back in time to the early 18th century. They find themselves on the sparsely populated coast of the Carolina Colony. Charles Town is the only English settlement of any size in the area. It's an inhospitable place of vast plantations, slavery, hostile natives, tall ships, and marauding pirates.

A thoroughly adequate time travel novel with a bland opening, a promising middle, and an ending that does kill the idea that it would become a full blown series. If you like Final Countdown you might like this to... if you don't then I'd pass.

A great continuation of an excellent novel Storm Warning continues the rich character development and story. Honestly loved it all... except that the time flow seems a bit wonky cause at one time it sounds like months have passed following the storm and at others its only a week or two.

A fun idea

This book is my jam. It asks and answers the question of "what would you do if you found an alien spaceship".
It only really has one major flaw. It needs some sort of chapter or perspective break/transition as the current lack is a bit jarring.

To many flashbacks
Reviewed: 08-21-19
First off preface this review as someone who has played the game and seen it played half a dozen times.
That said the core story on the station even the changes made to make it fit better into a book WAS GREAT.
Seriously I enjoyed all the time that Ripley is trying to move forward and survive, but it is ruined by the constant nonstop flashbacks pulling you out of the action every time there is a climax. It builds up then *bam* boring flashback, then back to the station, tensions rising then *bam* flashback!
A few were fine they let you get into Ripley's character better especially the cryo dream. However why is the author trying to establish her character an hour from the end of the book? We get it she is a great engineer and people suck move on with it...

Story
Milton Frederick was arguably the best player of Crowned Lieges of Destiny in the entire world. As the strategy coordinator for one of the top guilds, he was beginning to actually make a living from it. That was, until he was abducted by aliens. Severely damaged and confused about what happened to him, he woke up to find himself trapped inside a massive chicken egg on a strange, primitive world filled with curious - and deadly - creatures. Now, in order to survive, Milton has to rely on a snarky, foul-mouthed AI guide to show him what it means to be a Station Core.

A footnote on footnotes.
Reviewed: 07-29-19
Overall an enjoyable read. However it is marred by the constant footnote tags that seem to the usual crunch. Said footnotes and crunch are lacking from the book. It isn't enough to make me not recommend it, since the book is so good otherwise. It's just annoying being told that content is elsewhere.

Story
Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

An Excellent Novella for any Alien enthusiast.
Reviewed: 06-03-19
Excellent story, beautiful narration, the plot leaves some holes that still need to be filled for it to truly fill the gap between Aliens and Alien 3. That said it fills holes that precluded the old Earth War comics and Aliens Colonial Marines.

Being an avid RPG player, Ed excelled at logic and reason, and when he enters the afterworld, he is met with a figure who offers him an appealing proposition: to reincarnate as Edward MacAra, a black magic user. The only stipulation: Edward must save the universe from being taken over by the Demon Lord, Abraxas.

Reborn Apprentice: AKA How not to write a book.
Reviewed: 03-19-19
This is bar none the worst book I have EVER read.
The plot holes are too numerous to count. The story blazes along like it wants to get to a specific point but it veers off to cover odd tangents that don't add to the plot. There is next to no world building and the main character pulls spells out of no where because he is the Mcguffin.
His interactions with his rival are laughable and childish at best, it's like walking in during the last five minutes of a movie and having missed the by-play except there was no by-play... ever. The villain who is named Abraxas, is random, spontaneous, and cartoonishly villainous. His motives make make no sense, why is such a "powerful" entity is trying to acquire weaker spell than he already knows makes no sense.
To top it all off while the voice actor pulls a decent number of voices out the main character's mentor sound like he is voiced by Microsoft Sam.
