This audiobook gave me a better understanding of how the mind and body are connected when it comes to processing trauma. I appreciated the way it explained the concepts in simple terms without being overly technical, which made it easier for me to connect with the material. The techniques for calming the nervous system were very practical, and I’ve already tried a few. It’s been an empowering listen for taking small steps toward healing and self-awareness. The narrator, Teressa Mahoney, has a soothing and engaging voice to help the learning process, as well. Enjoy this audiobook!
