Humans journey to other solar systems. There’s worm holes, multiple alien species, other worlds, habited moons and asteroids, battles on land and in space, rescues, and more. The performer narrator is very good too.

Dr. Sam Anderson is one of the most celebrated scientists in history. Ten years ago, he invented a device that changed the world forever. Now his life is about to be ripped apart—and his own creation may be to blame. One fateful morning, Sam discovers that his girlfriend has been murdered and that his daughter is accused of the crime. Sam believes she's innocent, but he can't prove it. There's only one thing he can do to save his daughter: confess to the crime. And so he does. But in the future, murderers aren't sent to prison. This has to be one of the best time travel stories. Some reviewers have said there’s a twist at the end. I do not agree that. I think what they do with the technology for the last part of the book is a logical progression. I will say that the chapters waiting to figure out the murder of one of the semi-main characters does drag a bit. Otherwise, this is a must listen. The performer narrator is also very very good. I recommend this story.

Story
From the moment Dara of Westwood spied the Silver Headed Raptor nesting in Rundeval Peak, the precocious redheaded 12-year-old girl was enchanted. The youngest daughter of the Master of the Wood lived in ramshackle Westwood Hall, in the independently minded Westwood estate of Sevendor. Her determination to capture a baby falcon and train it wasn’t hampered by the fact that Dara had never climbed a mountain, had never been trained in falconry, or even remotely had permission from her father to do it.

Story
November 1866: The grisly murder site in London's East End is thronged with onlookers. None of them expect the calmly efficient young woman among them to be a medical doctor, arrived to examine the corpse. Inspector Richard Tennant, overseeing the investigation, at first makes no effort to disguise his skepticism. But Dr. Julia Lewis is accustomed to such condescension . . .

Great Who Done It
Reviewed: 02-12-25
The pace of the clues and pursuit was very well done. They followed up leads as fast as they could. There were interesting historical items that I don’t know how factual they are, but seem plausible. Many of these aspects of life in London during this time period were painted as very grim. Again, they seemed plausible, if not probable. They were important to the story and lead to the serial killers motives. I enjoyed the “lady” doctor’s co-lead role in solving the case, and her interplay and developing camaraderie with the lead detective inspector. I recommend this story, and especially to fans of murder mysteries.

The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.
