A needed book for everyone who has lost a child. The author is very honest and doesn't hide from the feelings that go through her head. Definitely recommend this book.

Story
When it comes to the “hard seasons” of life—the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job—transformation seems impossible when grief and uncertainty dominate your days. Especially when, as Didn’t See that Coming reveals, no one asks to have their future completely rearranged for them. But, as Rachel Hollis writes, it is up to you how you come through your pain—you can come through changed for the better, having learned and grown, or stuck in place where your identity becomes rooted in what hurt you.

Absolutely loved this story.

The best book I've read all year! If you've been to therapy, you'll laugh at the thoughts of the therapist. She let's you know what she's thinking during her personal and professional therapy sessions. She tells about her patients and their life stories throughout. I laughed and cried. The narrator is very good, and I wish there was a sequel.
