Good story and Narration
Reviewed: 10-04-24
While I expected a predictable story it had some very nice twists with the well-developed characters. I loved the comments on body types - especially in the acting industry.
The voice actor did a superb job! Definitely got the emotions through to the listener!
Fully recommend!

characters had little depth
Reviewed: 10-03-24
Maybe it was just me but the story grew old pretty quickly with each character's immaturity and lack of trust. In the end, I had a hard time believing there would actually be a happily ever after.

Nice take on the time lapse trope
Reviewed: 09-30-24
Good story in both time lines. Nice that the characters matured during the time break. I would have preferred them to have a little longer break like 10 years, but it definitely works as is!

Life has become a farcical mess for icy British A-lister Elizabeth Thornton. America's most-hated villain stars in a top-rated TV medical drama that she hates. Now, she's been romantically linked to her perky, new co-star, Summer, due to the young woman's clumsiness. As a closeted actress, that's the last thing Elizabeth needs. If she could just get her dream movie role, life would be so much better. The only problem is that the eccentric French film-maker offering it insists on meeting her "girlfriend", Summer, first.

There were a couple of minor glitches in the writing (naming the wrong character in a scene) but overall the story was easy to follow and heartwarming.
The performance was very good also. My only criticism would be that a few of the character voices sounded too similar.
It was a great listen and I laughed out loud several times - I couldn't help myself! So entertaining!

Delilah Green swore she would never go back to Bright Falls—nothing is there for her but memories of a lonely childhood where she was little more than a burden to her cold and distant stepfamily. Her life is in New York, with her photography career finally gaining steam and her bed never empty. Sure, it’s a different woman every night, but that’s just fine with her.
