I think I just anticipated this book a little too much because I didn't care for it as much. there was a lot going on and the storyline still follows the previous titles in this series. I just didn't enjoy it as much.

I love this series.

this book reminds me of an after-dinner snack. you already had your appetizer and your main course. and now people are offering you more and you can either take it or leave it. I love the whole series. I would listen to each book multiple times and when a new one came out I would start from book one. but there's something about this book I'm just not caring for as much. I don't know if it's because I didn't expect it existence. or because I was completely satisfied with the ending of the series. it's still well written and it has the same narrator. this is just my personal opinion.

this is a good book I just don't care for the female lead.

I like the author. I have a lot of this type of story am I collection. so I'm very familiar with the genre and the storyline. I won't say this is my favorite because I'm not really a fan of the female lead. she just lacks common sense and keeps getting herself and ridiculous situations knowing she's in danger. and then not thinking about the possibilities. that drives me a little crazy other than that I like the other characters so I will continue to listen and hopefully the storyline gets better. hoping book number two is better than book number one so let's see how it goes.

Very light easy listen

I don't know how this book ended up in my library but I ended up listening to the whole thing. it's a very easy listen. for me personally and not having personally picked it. it's the type of story you can listen to while distracted by other things. that is not a bad thing. it's a cute story good narration good characters. I like the writing. it was just a background book for me.

Tricky Tricky purchase

I really like the narrator for Miss jules. It took me a while to get used to her as the narrator. Especially for Ezra and Lily's characters. But for Miss Jules it's almost perfect. The story progresses and just keeps getting better. The relationships grow and change. And you're able to see new situations. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on book 7 whenever it is available. The purchase was very tricky for book 5. I had to call customer service three different times because I couldn't buy it with a debit card. Or a credit card. Or even use a credit. They help me figure it out and I got it. The issue is the book is not available in the US. But I have dual addresses in the US and stationed on base in England. Even though I currently live in the US I was able to switch my information to the military base and it worked.

Still one of my favotites.

One of my favorite features on the audible app is to be able to Archive a book. When you go to collections you see your books archived. They are no longer in your library because they are in their own separate space. I have thousands of audio books and I have archived almost 500 of my favorites. Because when I can't find a book to listen to I go back to my old faithfuls and find something in the archive area. No matter what I pick it will be one of my favorites. What's extremely funny is when I tell someone a series is in my top hundred they think that it's a negative thing. LOL this series is probably in my top 50. And that's out of over thousands of titles in this genre. And thousands of audiobooks across multiple accounts. I didn't know if I couldn't continue this series because I'm not really familiar with Chloe Cannon's voice. But after finishing King tomb I have to say she's growing on me. This story is getting better and she's doing a better job narrating. Now I could be a little judgy about it because I read this book probably 15 times. I already know what the character is going to do and what to expect in her voice doesn't match up with what I would prefer. But I am looking forward to seeing what she's going to do with chosen thief. Another thing I don't like is one of the author changes up their characters. Especially main characters like Lily and Ezra. But the next character that is introduced is probably my favorite in the series. And I cannot wait to listen to this next book. I'm really glad I don't have to sit down and physically read it. Excuse all the typos I'm just talking and I also didn't edit

FINALLY ITS IN AUDIO

I was shopping on Amazon yesterday when I decided to check out any new potential audio deals. you can usually find some good stuff that you normally wouldn't get and turned out to be hidden gems. while I was on there I had to check if my favorite series is going to be coming up with book 7 because it's been over 6 years. and you know what I found out Scarlett Dawn finally has the forever ever more series on Audible. I have read this series so many times I can tell you what is going to happen next without even thinking about it. but to be able to listen to it and walk around is going to be amazing. I have thousands of audio books and over a thousand in this genre alone on Audible. I will tell you this is not your typical series. most of the time you know exactly what to expect. you find a book and you could swear that you just read it or listen to it 2 months ago. because it's predictable. the characters are the same the storyline is the same and the relationships are the same. but this series is different. or at least I haven't come across anything similar. and I've been using Audible for almost 20 years. I definitely think it's worth checking out if you haven't. the narration for the original first book is different from the rest of the series because the rest is new of course. I will tell you that it has been a long time since she's come out with any more books for this series. it was talked about years ago. and she did lay out the characters and who will be in the 14 plus book series. so if you can live with an incomplete series or to never know if it will be continued

Nice story, Easy listen.

I feel for the main character of the story. She's getting older, and life doesn't look like she thought it would at almost 40. Her family keeps bulldozing her to do what they want, and her husband hasn't giving her what's she needs.

This book was better than the last
