Fantastic viking ride.

overall I am satisfied, my only critique is the performer needed to slow down and let the narration breath instead of rushing like a run on sentence

Story
Eric Bergman used to be treated like an outcast, cripple, and freak. Some pitied him, others squirmed in his presence, while others still mocked him to his face. He himself even thought he was born cursed by the gods. But bit by bit, all that changed. That which was once considered a flaw or defect transformed into an advantage. And Eric slowly learned to use it to his benefit.

fun take on a zero to hero.

my only dislike. I get the MC has been shunned his whole life, and is constantly encountering the worst of luck. but there is a repetitive, not my fight, not my problem. I can empathize, but there are times where that mindset built so much momentum I almost walked away.

Moar!!!

After the first book, I'll admit, I enjoyed it. but was only half snared. Five books later, I can't get enough. Even after scaling each challenge higher and higher into numbers you would only see in a popular anime, some how I'm still caught enraptured by the seemingly limitless possibilities. I hope beyond hope, that sanctuary continues to grow, and that the new Brother and Sister lead us into yet another impossible, and unforeseen OP future!!!

Story
Thomas was no one, an orphan with no past and no memories of his early life. The only clue lies in the strange birthmark on his chest, a mark that may or may not reveal his origin, but will certainly guide him to his destiny. Growing to manhood he will become a man of consequence and influence, yet the greatest gift he has to offer his people lies not in his power, but in his wisdom. As he strives to reach his potential he will face obstacles great and small and he will discover that some foes are too strong to defeat with power alone.

Carter Morrison didn't want to kill his friends or himself, but he had a good reason. It was them or the end of all life on the planet. Their sacrifice saved the world. Not that anyone knew it. Until Katherine Manners stumbled over a melting man in a computer room clutching a message of doom from another world.

Fantastic journey across overlapping existences.
Reviewed: 12-23-21
I truly loved this story, start to finish, though it did take a little time to build momentum and to fully invest into the multitude of characters and perspectives as the story unraveled. A clever balance between reality as we know it, the fantasy of the 'buffer' world, and sci-fi horror and mystery of the Strange.
I have no qualms over the story, however, the performer was heavily lacking. It felt empty, and lazy. Drunk and sleepy, words would slur, and often mispronounced. Uncalled for pauses, or holds on words riddled the narration. Compared to many other audibles, I felt very little invested in the different characters and in making them come to life in their own unique ways.
I digress. The story is worthy of your time, take it in and owner through, or read the printed or kindle form, and you'll see a world of difference!
