A Timeless Classic!!

This has been one of my favorite novels for many years. All film adaptations I've seen have always satisfied. Kevin McNally does an amazing job of narrating, especially of a pirate story. I'd love to see him as Long John Silver in a new film adaptation. I also want to hear more of him.

Make the Sackett series into a TV show
Reviewed: 10-11-21
Someone needs to make the Sackett series a TV show. One like the old days of TV, without all the sexual and nudity garbage, but with the video quality of today. Starting with Barnabas Sackett and then on down the line. It would be an amazing show to watch.

Inspiring!

This book has reignited my boyhood admiration of the history of the American frontier. The ingenuity of the natives and the adaptation of the frontiersman to their ways, it inspires me to learn new skills. New to me, but almost lost with time. I long to spend a year or two exploring America before it was touched by the western expansion of the Old World.
