Not many slow points in the story. Side characters are not annoying, and good enough to add flavor. MC doesn’t whine.

1st book was better. Dialogue between side characters is juvenile and annoying. Narrator’s voice can be grating and unpleasant. Overall story is interesting, but too much time is wasted on silly tropes and teenage drama.

Travis does well as always. This story’s currency is cutesy characters and that gets old. Regardless it’s worth the cost.

Great narration, story is still ok, but it begins to bog down in wordiness and clever asides. It’s still not bad, I’m gonna continue.

Good blend of interesting story line, silly humor, action and intensity. Dakota’s first books in series rarely disappoint

This book was mostly spring cleaning. Tying up loose ends, side characters, and lots of stats.

The series is getting worse after mid point of book two. Not terrible, but a struggle to finish

Felt a bit like the Dune series. Grand scale, pseudo religious underpinnings. Diaspora. Narration was pleasant.

Narration is super solid, stories are excellent mystery, and the back drop is super interesting. Hope Larry Corea keeps them coming.
