The information covered here will help with the easy questions on the linux+ cert but anything remotely advanced requiring detailed configuration knowledge is missing.
Its a good starter for beginners, if you aren't a beginner it isn't as useful.
The test prep questions at the end are a nice addition.

This was a pretty decent coverage for test prep. There are things on the test that aren't covered but for the time, cost, and content it was worth it.

The basics an overview
Reviewed: 01-24-22
This is suitable for audio. It only covers the basics some keywords and syntax. It doesn't embellish with extra stuff, it sticks to what it puports to be. Short and too the point. This makes it a good resource for listening to while driving, exercising, or doing chores.
Don't expect to master the language just from listening to this you'll need to spend some time practicing, but this is a good start/reinforcement for learning.

"Correlation does not imply causation". This mantra has been invoked by scientists for decades and has led to a virtual prohibition on causal talk. But today, that taboo is dead. The causal revolution, sparked by Judea Pearl and his colleagues, has cut through a century of confusion and placed causality - the study of cause and effect - on a firm scientific basis.

Interesting developments

I have some background in statistics and AI so I could follow along with much of what the book covered. I wasn't able to completely follow along with the math though solely through listening. If you don't mind not completely understanding the math it might be a good listen. If you want
to understand the math look for the author's textbook on Causality instead.
The author drew rich comparisons at many times through his cultural and religious experience. It was useful in helping to explain his thoughts on the material and interesting to see how humanity historically has wrestled with some of these topics. If you are needlessly offended by references to material that has religious origin you have been forewarned.
I am not sure I completely agree with all of the assertions the author makes about the impacts of causality and artificial intelligence but I do think the development of this branch of mathmatics sounds significant and worthy of some attention.

Superb! Great Listen on Macroeconomics.

This book was just what I was looking for: A book that covers macro-econ ideas that is deep enough to get a real grasp of what it is all about but simple enough to be appropriate for an audio. The narrator did a great job.
The writing if fairly balance between different schools of thought and presents several viewpoints.
If you are looking for a armchair (car ride) introduction to Macro this is a great pick.

Think of a number between one and 10. No, hang on, let's make this interesting. Between zero and infinity. Even if you stick to the whole numbers, there are a lot to choose from - an infinite number in fact. Throw in decimal fractions, and infinity suddenly gets an awful lot bigger (is that even possible?). And then there are the negative numbers, the imaginary numbers, the irrational numbers like pi which never end. It literally never ends.

I was looking for the original book, which sadly wasn't in audio form, so I got this summary instead. It is an excellent summary and introduced me to a few ideas that I have not been introduced to before. The format is designed in such a way that after it goes through the topics ideas are reinforced through the analysis sections and end sections. Can't wait to read the book its based on.
