Story
Reluctant lawyer Andy Carpenter is relieved to be headed back to Paterson, New Jersey, after a week-long family vacation in the Adirondacks. He's ready to put the holly jolly season way behind him and settle in at home with his three dogs. But when they finally arrive, there is an extra dog eagerly awaiting them, as well as one anxious dog sitter. When the dog showed up on the doorstep a few days ago, the sitter knew Andy would know what to do. Indeed, Andy recognizes Murphy, who the Carpenters fostered before the dog went home with BJ Bremer and his mother.

"One of the high spiritual moments which have enriched my life came the day I [listened to] this book at one sitting. It was a moving and unforgettable experience in which I had the feeling of actually being in the presence of Jesus. It produced a strange compelling identification with the sights, sounds and atmosphere of those times and the Lord's presence was profoundly realistic."

Of course the words of Jesus are perfect. The narrator - bless his heart - is bland and rote. The narrator has no inflection. He would like an off key machine. I can't finish it. I will read it myself.

No one disputes their celestial glory — dazzling, dramatic, and perhaps somehow meaningful. But how? What is it about the 12 major constellations in our night sky that has captivated almost everyone throughout history from ancient stargazers searching the skies with naked eyes to modern astronomers scanning the stars through incredibly powerful telescopes. There are those who claim the stars give each of us personal information based on the date of our birth. But we know better, of course. Are the positioning of the stars entirely random? If so, why do they tell such a powerful story? Is ...

Interesting Reading. The suppositions for what the characters of the Hebrew alphabet are best guesses, at most. God could have made signs in the sky but using the pictures of the Hebrew Alphabet to put together a whole theory ? I do agree the OT does predict the coming of Jesus and has great relevance to the NT. The Jewish feasts and rituals I do not believe are pertinent to Christians. Yes, gentiles used pagan holidays and turned them into Christian' Holidays leaving behind the pagan ideas behind them. That's a good thing, no?

I read and heard 'The Green Prince'. I've prayed for Mosab for a long time. This book delves much deeper. Mosab is honest and humble. As a Christian supporting Israel myself, he brings to light what I think we really already know. The fight is against principalities and powers, good and evil. Being Individually courageous enough to love your enemies, accept Jesus Christ's' free gift of forgiveness and salvation, and want peace for humanity is the Only way. Living through God's Spirit is the only way it will happen.

Reluctant lawyer Andy Carpenter is at the Tara Foundation’s annual Christmas party. The dog rescue organization has always been his true calling, and this is one holiday tradition he can get behind because every dog that’s come through the rescue—and their families—are invited to celebrate. This year’s party is no exception. But before the stockings can be hung by the chimney with care, homicide detectives ruin the evening. Derek Moore, one of the foundation’s best foster volunteers, is arrested for murder.

Larry Virgil skipped out on his latest court date after he was arrested for hijacking an eighteen-wheeler full of premium bourbon. Fortunately for bounty hunter Stephanie Plum, Larry is just stupid enough to attempt almost the exact same crime again. Only this time he flees the scene, leaving behind a freezer truck loaded with Bogart ice cream and a dead body—frozen solid and covered in chocolate and chopped pecans.

At least there was more Ranger in this book. Morelli is boring. Maybe because I worked at a police department for four years. Special Forces more interesting. But the 'Babe' gets old. The characters are well developed but Morelli and Grandma seem to have only one thing on their mind.
