Not a huge fan of the lady of the story being underage when he starts stalking her. It has a huge purity culture twist, which I did not enjoy, considering how purity culture is to normalize grown men being pedos to girls. I wanted to enjoy the generous rich guy obsessing over his love interest, but it was super cringe. The fact that the rich guy chooses a child to be his bride is gross and he would not even like her if she was not pure amd untouched by anyone other than him. It was tough reading the whole thing. He says he wants to keep her pregnant, even in her discomfort, so I don't have much respect for the guy love interest.

Story
Men Who Hate Women examines the rise of secretive extremist communities who despise women and traces the roots of misogyny across a complex spider web of groups. It includes interviews with former members of these communities, the academics studying this movement, and the men fighting back. Women's rights activist Laura Bates wrote this book as someone who has been the target of many misogynistic attacks online. As Bates went undercover into the corners of the internet, she found an unseen, organized movement of thousands of anonymous men wishing violence (and worse) upon women.

I have read some books to understand abuse from males, but this book really ties it all together. Things I didn't pick up on before were highlighted in this book to indicate their relevance.

The Manipulator. I can manipulate the emotions of anyone who lets me. I will make you hurt, make you cry, make you laugh and sigh. But my words don't affect him. Especially not when I plead for him to leave. He's always there, watching and waiting. And I can never look away. Not when I want him to come closer. The Shadow. I didn't mean to fall in love. But now that I have, I can't stay away. I'm mesmerized by her smile, by her eyes, and the way she moves. I'll keep watching and waiting. Until I can make her mine. And once she is, I'll never let her go.

Hidden somewhere, in nearly every major city in the world, is an underground seduction lair. And in these lairs, men trade the most devastatingly effective techniques ever invented to charm women. This is not fiction. These men really exist. They live together in houses known as Projects. And Neil Strauss, the best-selling author, spent two years living among them, using the pseudonym Style to protect his real-life identity. The result is one of the most explosive and controversial books of the year.

Misogony Manipulation

I read this book to avoid the PUA described in this book. The guy's love for their bros and nothing but disrespect and hate for women is something I wish to avoid. If they weren't hell bent on using women's bodies to masterbate with, one would think these guys are homosexuals... Until they have the capacity to love another human being with different reproductive organs from them, they basically are gay in a bad way. (I didn't think that was possible.) Ironic that the author doesn't like being treated how his fellow PUA treat women in the end.

I love all the content in Dolores Canon's books. The audio cuts in and out where the voice clips were spliced together. In some places you can't make out the words. It hurts my ears and head trying to make sense of the cutting in and out audio. It's not a smooth journey along with Dolores, but a jumpy jerking pothole riddled ride.

Story
"Who am I becoming?" That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. Outwardly, he appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren’t pretty. So, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life." It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.
