Story
Shortly after marrying her soulmate and the birth of their son, the lies begin. First, it's the phone calls, always held in secret, always deleted from his phone. Then it's his odd disappearances and the little nagging voice in her head screaming: Something is not right. When Palmer follows her gut - and her husband - she catches him with an unfamiliar woman in the park and in his biggest lie thus far. Learning from her past, she hatches a plan to protect herself and their child.

Story
Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. One little solar flare happens and suddenly you find yourself 85 years in the future. Eighty-five years from your dream job. Your ailing mother whose only companion in this world is you. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. But when June’s cell phone inexplicably picks up a signal, she’s able to call back to the present—more specifically, four weeks before she accidentally time traveled.

Story
Lucie Redway knows one thing for certain: her best friend will have the most perfect destination wedding. Not even Charlie, the insufferably attractive and hateful best man, can get in her way. Before the flight touches down in Spain, Lucie is hit with a curveball. Sat next to world-famous psychic Miranda Bloom, she’s told she’ll leave the wedding with the love of her life.

It was very very predictable. Spots were enjoyable, but I knew right down to the end scene, what would happen.

Story
Anna Green thought she was marrying Liam “West” Weston for access to subsidized family housing while at UCLA. She also thought she’d signed divorce papers when the graduation caps were tossed, and they both went on their merry ways. Three years later, Anna is a starving artist living paycheck to paycheck while West is a Stanford professor. He may be one of four heirs to the Weston Foods conglomerate, but he has little interest in working for the heartless corporation his family built from the ground up. He is interested, however, in his one-hundred-million-dollar inheritance.

Story
Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby. Which is why she agrees to go to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina, for the month of August when Libby begs her for a sisters’ trip away.

Awful. Save Your Time.

Spoilers:
How does someone apparently get raped and come home and not tell her husband or anybody? Then have the baby? The women in the story are horrific and weak. There is literally no redeeming quality in this book.. Nothing makes sense, even if you stick it out to the end. It is awful. Don’t bother.

Story
Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

Good But Long

It felt like a lot of the descriptive parts of the book were so overwritten and repetitive. I like this author, but this book could have been way shorter and still told a great story, even if that story was highly predictable.

The story might’ve been a good one, but it was laborious and long. Every description, things that weren’t necessary at all to the story to move forward, etc. I had to speed up the audiobook just to get through it.
