Story
Unchained from fate, the Norse gods Loki and Hel are ready to unleash Ragnarok, a.k.a. the Apocalypse, upon the earth. They’ve made allies on the darker side of many pantheons, and there’s a globe-spanning battle brewing that ancient Druid Atticus O’Sullivan will be hardpressed to survive, much less win.

What?!?

After years of reading and loving this series it couldn’t have ended more poorly. Luke Daniels was fantastic as usual. I thought the whole book was a punt and it was obvious that the whole series should’ve ended two books ago. Granuaille and Owen aren’t bad characters but it was the Iron Druid chronicles not the Old Druid or the young Druid chronicles. The author ran out of character development for Atticus and he just didn’t know where else to go except to just literally cut off story.
