Definitely worth the read. I loved many things about the book, chief among them was the use of Song of Solomon.

I really enjoyed this book. Brittainy knows how to write beautiful romances that carry characters through the tragedies and heartbreaks of life. This is a book about grief, guilt, and abiding love. It is a reminder that there can be HEAs after the most horrific storms. I didn’t love the male narrator, but the story was worth it

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series. It was a wonderful introduction to three women making their way through life and work together as they let love find them.

The readers are pretty terrible and distract from the story. This book featured one of the worst attempts at a Boston accents I’ve ever heard.

I loved this book, and Retta and Duncan. It was sweet, and the story felt lived in. I hope we get to explore the characters in this universe further. I’d love to see Gwen and Anthony’s story soon.

Strong story-wish narrators had bother to learn

The main character Tabitha is so soap opera obsessed that she runs a soap opera instagram, but neither of the narrators bothered to learn to properly pronounce the name of one of, if not the most popular, and longest running
soap villain of all time. And they said the name Stefano DiMera at least 20 times. It took me out of the story each time and feels like the type of thing a professional voice actor would check on. This was especially egregious because of the strong overlap between soap fans and romance readers/listeners. It especially irked me because i liked this storyline so much and it could have been my favorite in this series. The story was fun and pretty good—-lively girl who is a hard worker and down her luck brightens the life of an all work and no-play/absolutely doesn’t do relationships billionaire who finally realizes she’s exactly what he’s been missing after they fake an engagement so he can share a business deal.

I didn’t know what to expect in this follow up to Emma and Jesse’s original story, but it was good to see the way the Boston brothers’ worlds are coming together. I expected more Zack and can’t wait to read his book. The pirate scene literally had me crying laughing. There was a LOT going on in this book that was equal parts a comedy of errors and declaration that anything can be a special experience if you’re with the right person.

This book was heartbreaking, hopeful and beautiful. The uncertainty of senior year/first year of college is made even more fraught by Zaneb’s battles against Islamaphobia and the injustices all around her and Adam’s battles with a new diagnosis. They each find an anchor in a Marvels and Oddities journal and the story is told primarily through their entries.
