Story
Barney and Cathy. Evan and Fiona. David and Alice. Three couples who have beaten the odds and stayed married - but is that simply because they haven’t got around to divorcing yet? In these three series, we follow this group of friends throughout weekends away and tricky date nights, weddings and funerals, Christmas celebrations and counselling sessions - all of which give them plenty of opportunity for flirting, fighting, competitiveness and reprehensible behaviour. We listen in to their innermost thoughts, feelings and motivations as they break the fourth wall.

They are flawed individuals but who amongst us can judge? It is very entertaining though. I’ve listened to it countless times.

Story
RITA finalist Julie Klassen has earned numerous awards for her popular historical romance novels. In The Maid of Fairbourne Hall, pampered Margaret Macy flees her home in London to avoid marrying a dishonorable man. Now, with no money and no place to stay, Margaret does the unthinkable: she takes a job as a housemaid in the home of two brothers - both of whom are former suitors. As an “invisible” observer, Margaret realizes she may have misjudged one brother and wonders if it’s too late to win his admiration.

Very informative about below stairs life

The romance part of the story was very small but still sweet. The ending might seem abrupt after so long a book but you can kind of figure out what happens next...and they lived happily ever after. The book at times had a Cinderella element to it.

Story
Four classic episodes from the original TV series: Arrival, Songs of Praise, Easter Special and The Christmas Lunch Incident. Welcome to Dibley, a perfect village full of some perfectly peculiar people - including Alice Tinker and her underactive brain, Owen Newitt and his overactive bowels, and Letitia Cropley and her orange cake with Branston pickle icing.

It's the audio from the tv series. So I can listen at my desk at work and remember what the scene was like. Awesome!

Story
Lou Winter is a lonely woman who no longer realises she's being taken advantage of - whether by her mother or unfaithful husband Phil. Then one day she spots a magazine article on clearing clutter. What begins as an earnest spring-clean soon spirals out of control. The more Lou lets go of, the more light can get to those painful places at the centre of her heart.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes...I couldn't stop listening. I spent a majority of my time listening and waiting for Lou to be happy. Not your typical rom com but it makes you realize not everyone married is happily married.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Spring Affair?
Can't say without giving the book away.
