Powerful
Reviewed: 11-10-23
I’ve read them all, multiple times, both in print and audio. The first one, I had to stop and break from for a few days, but came back and it felt supportive and good after that, I guess I needed to absorb it. I’m all in, This was beautiful and hopeful and exhilarating. I always preorder book and audio.

Impactful
Reviewed: 05-17-20
I’ve read all Marie’s books, loved them, but this was in a way the most impactful for me. Maybe cause my WHOLE life...not just my closets and drawers...was the real issue. Also, some of the personal frustrations and issues she alluded to made her seem more real, and made me feel less imperfect. I got a LOT out of this one. Now to apply it!

Story
Alexi and Preston went through periods in each of their lives where they felt like they were doing all the right things, but never got the desired results. They read all the best books in self-empowerment and positive thinking, took classes, and sought advice, but there was always something missing. After all of their soul-searching and personal development, they realized that they were missing a connection between mind, body, and soul.

What? You don’t know Adam Wade? Here’s your chance! Adam Wade’s personal-yet-universal stories and vulnerable delivery have made him one of the most popular storytellers and comedians in the country on "story slam" platforms like The Moth and Comedy Central’s Whiplash. This Audible Original, performed on stage in front of a live audience, combines Wade’s greatest hits stories with entirely new material.

Interesting
Reviewed: 08-21-17
What did you like best about The Butterfly Effect with Jon Ronson? What did you like least?
I got this as a gift...thank you, Audible! Not something I would have used a credit on, but it was more interesting than I had expected. The format of interviews made it more real, and the rise and fall of the porn mill due to the internet was something I had no previous knowledge or interest in
Would you be willing to try another book from Jon Ronson? Why or why not?
Maybe. On another subject.
Do you think The Butterfly Effect with Jon Ronson needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I have now been there, done that. It was pretty good, for the subject matter.

Story
There are some people who think there is no place for 5s Lean at home, just like those who say you can't bake without ovens! The 5S process of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain is a lean manufacturing process in use by the Toyota Production System for decades. The premise of 5S is to help organize and improve the conditions of a workplace, but this process can be used for your home as well. These steps can help you get your home organized now, and keep it that way.

Not really about home...
Reviewed: 08-31-16
An overview of the Lean Principles, but not REALLY home centered. They missed a useful chance to contribute here. Nothing wrong with what info there is, but even explanatory examples were heavily manufacturing- centered. Does not reflect the proposed subject.
