Julie Hall did an amazing job bringing the world and characters to life. Emberly is coming into her own and growing into an amazing character.
She did an even more amazing job picking her narrators. They are perfect for the story.
I can't wait for the next book!

Filthy Sex by Serena Aekroyd and narrated by Conor Crais and Samantha Cook is the fourth book in The Five Points' Mob Collection. This is Brennan's book, the second son of Aiden Sr. and Lena O'Donnelly. We meet Camille, the oldest daughter of the Russian Bratva's Pakhan (the head of the Russian mafia). Camille is a promise that Brennan made to her mother, and the only way he can keep her safe is to marry her, against all the rules. Camille knows of this promise and plans on making him marry her. Their worlds collide and combust. War is coming, but against who is anyone's guess. Remember, in the O'Donnellys' world, being Catholic means marriage is for life.

Filthy Dark by Serena Aekroyd and narrated by Teddy Hamilton and C.J. Bloom is the third book in The 5 Points Mob collection. In this book meet meet Aela O'Neill, a one-time love interest of Declan O'Donnelly, the fourth son of Aiden Sr. and Lena. Aela runs away with a HUGE secret and comes back almost 15 years later. She has been the only love interest of Declan and will do anything to get her back, to keep. I would say that this book is a second chance romance surrounded by the mob.

In this book we meet Aoife, the owner of a Tea Room that Finn O'Grady, financial wizard in the Irish mob, is wanting to buy. Aoife has put it off, but now Finn has leverage, and extorts her into selling her business and becoming his. Little does Finn realize that she is going to change his life forever.
We meet the entire O'Donnelly clan, the family that runs the Irish mob in NYC. Dive into this awesome book and meet this crazy family. Learn life in the mob, and the wars that are coming.

The Lady by Serena Akeroyd and narrated by Joe Arden and CJ Bloom is the second book in The Valentini Family and the end of The Oath Duet. Jen is the daughter of a "dead" Irish mobster, Luciu is the son of a man murdered because of who his father was. Together, they find love and answers to the questions they have spent years looking for. The Don is necessary to be read first or this book will be completely misunderstood. CJ Bloom and Joe Arden do an amazing job bringing the characters to life. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the performance. This series is set in the world created by Ms. Akeroyd, which also encompasses The Five Points series and The Satan's Sinners MC series. I highly recommend all of the books in this world, while only a few are going to be available (Feb 14th) in audio at time of posting this review.

This book is a mafia romance with violence, sex scenes, and murder. If these are triggers to you, then skip this book. If these aren't triggers, I recommend this book highly. The Don must be listened to first, or you lose half of the story.

The Don by Serena Akeroyd and narrated by Joe Arden & CJ Bloom is the first book in The Valentini Family AND The Oath Duet. It begins HOT and stays that way through the entire book. Luciu Valentini is looking for his queen and finds her as she offers herself to him in his office. Jen is running from her past and runs into the arms and life of one of the most dangerous men in NYC. He sees her, not just her looks but her soul and decides that the little Irish girl is going to be his. As Luciu claims the seat as the leader of La Famiglia, he claims her heart as well.
Joe Arden and CJ Bloom bring all of the characters to life. You never have to worry about which character is talking because these narrators make each character as unique as they were written to be.
Would I listen to this book again? Absolutely YES
Would I recommend this book to others? Again YES
This is a mafia romance, and there is violence. If neither of these triggers you, then this is the perfect book to listen to. It's well written and well performed. Again, this is the first book of the series, but also the first of a duet. The Lady finishes the story of Jen and Luciu.

Brix by Brooke O'Brien and narrated by Michael Gallagher and Stephanie Kay is a stand alone Bully to Lovers/step-sibling romance. Imagine your high school bully is now your step-brother. It's been many years since the MFC has been home, and her mom is getting married, to her bullys' father. Staying for the summer in the same house, they become more attracted to each other, and learn a lot about each other, and their pasts.
While I like bully romance, throwing in the step-siblings was a bit too much for me. I give it 4 stars because the writing was well done and the narration was superb.
Would I listen to this book again? No, but it's my preference for genre, not the writing style.
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes, if it fits what this book is.
Again, while not my cup of tea, it's well written and well narrated.

Wolf's Soul by JL Madore and narrated by Gabriel Thorne and Lia Holland is the second book in the Guardians of the Fae Realms series. I very much enjoyed this book as more was explained about all of the main characters. Having multiple shifters in one book has been quite entertaining, with each having very different personalities.
The narrator's did an amazing job with all the different characters with voices for each one that fits the personalities of each.

Zero Rising by Ireland Gill and narrated by Amanda Roethle is the 3rd book in The Soldier of Light Chronicles. Evika is tired of all the secrets being withheld from her. Her entire life has been one huge secret. Including her own angel hiding his face from her. She fights all the rules and the betrayal from the council is the final straw. She is hiding her own secrets, and they may just get her killed. Once again Ms. Gill has written a great story with more world building.

Ms. Roethle did a great job with this story, as this is another narrator for the series. Definitely looking forward to the next book. This is yet another doosey of a cliffhanger.

Seven Wishes by Serena Akeroyd and narrated by Austin Rising and Jennifer Jill Araya is the start of an amazing trilogy. Our poor heroine is stuck in the boondocks with a crazy cult and is rescued by a "siren", and taken to the Academy. There she is exposed to all kinds of things she has been taught her whole life is evil. Then we meet her Harem. All of them are falling all over themselves to get to know her. This is just the beginning.
