Story
Abu Nakba―the man responsible for lethal attacks in Washington, D.C., London, and Jerusalem―is finally dead. Marcus Ryker has been tasked with hunting down and destroying what’s left of the terror group Kairos. But before Ryker can mobilize his team of CIA operatives with their new assignment, a disturbing report from Libya suggests all may not be as it seems. The U.S. bombing that should have taken out Nakba’s headquarters now appears to have been a disastrous mistake―and Ryker himself may be responsible.

Story so contemporary, plausible, it can stir your emotions. Narrator ha to be slowed to .7 to understand. I tell you no narrator can deter me from waiting excitedly for another Ryker story. It is so plausible that you might tremble occasionally as you read. If I weren't a believer convinced God is totally sovereign, these stories would frighten me. After 60 years serving Jesus, I know HE causes all things to work together for good to all those He has called, even sorrowful, painful, alarming things have a reason in our lives. Particularly to make us more like Jesus with love, peace and patience

Liked the storyline but aggravated by how many times the long Mexican names were repeated when they had been translated at least twice already.

The year is 1910. Nate Cooper is an old-school cowboy. He sees the change brought by the turn of the century and reckons none of it to be good. Even after spending nearly 30 years in a Montana prison for a wrongful murder conviction, Nate’s moral compass is true and unwavering: He does all the wrong things for all the right reasons. So when he returns to his northern Montana ranching town to find the Blackfoot Indians - the people he went to prison trying to defend - are still being cheated out of their territory by ranchers, Nate can’t rest on his laurels.

There are two things a man can never escape: his past and his destiny. For Buck Trammel, that past includes a fatal mistake that ended his career as a Pinkerton and a deadly shootout with the Bower gang in a Witchita saloon. Call it luck or call it fate, but the famous Deputy Wyatt Earp was there to give Buck some advice: Run for your life. Maybe it was Earps warning that saved him from the gangs wrath. Maybe it was destiny that brought him to the town of Blackstone, Wyoming, where his biggest problem is a father-son brewing war. But Trammels luck is about to run dry....

Narrator needs to learn to pronounce the word "dour" like sour not "do-er". She had a dour look! In other words she looked rather somber and depressed.
