An opportunity to tell off the billionaire whose bank took my childhood home? Yes, please! The greedy, arrogant jerk thinks I’m here to interview for the job of his dog trainer (a.k.a. nanny), but he’s got a big storm coming.

It’s been a while that a laughed so much in a romance book. The conversations were witty and the scenes were great. It was a quick book and fun to get through. Definitely recommend it.

Story
It all started with a bet. When my young son inherited half of his great grandfather’s historic inn, I decided to move us both to the place where I grew up. Notice I said half of the Inn. The other half now belonged to Levi Miller, the famous quarterback who had other ideas about what we should do with the property. We won’t mention that I accidentally injured him during our first meeting, causing him to get eight stitches. You could say we got off on the wrong foot. We bickered a lot as we both moved into the property while we figured things out.

The book was a fast listen and had me laughing out loud several times. The main love interest was great but I wanted to slap the ex so much I needed to go for walks to calm down. I would definitely suggest this book to any reader.

Story
When I'm late for a job interview and get stuck on an elevator with an annoyingly sexy, ancient-Rome-obsessed grump, the last thing I expect is for him to be the billionaire owner of the building. I also don't expect to almost kill him...accidentally, of course.

Grumpy Roman God

This was a fun quick book. I started hearing this book on a plane ride and needed to hide my smiles. I didn’t want my seat mates to think I was crazy. I continues the book once I arrived at my hotel and unpacked. Then realized I was so invested in finding out what happened I couldn’t put it down.
The ML was adorable. Throughout the story, you find out that his life has been difficult and it helped shaped him into the jerk he is but leave it to the FL to break down that Roman God exterior. I would definitely hear/read this book again.

Story
Zoe is used to taking care of herself and has long ago accepted that if anything bad was going to happen, it was going to happen to her. So when she loses her job over something most bosses would probably be happy with and her life starts going down hill from there she doesn't expect it to get any better. She certainly didn't expect any help from the loud jerk next door, but then again she has nothing to lose so puts her trust in him and hopes for the best.

By far my favorite story in this series

I can’t say enough good things about Trevor and Zoe’s story. Out of all of the Neighbors from Hell they are my favorite. Reid and Joey being my close second.
They have some great back and forth and always have good times. They show that being honest with yourself can be just as hard as being honest with others. I have re heard this book more than two handful of times. It’s my go to book.

Story
I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got worse as time wore on. I even went to Europe for a year, just to avoid him. But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way I'll allow him to ruin another year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

Hard to get through
Reviewed: 10-11-22
This story is hard for me to enjoy since it was centered about a “bully” or an abusive relationship. I know this is a story but it almost made the old tale of boys will pick on the girl they like to an extreme. I hope no one will think that being treated like trash by a person they care about is ok. I forced my self to listen to this but I was extremely aggravated throughout. I want to make it know that it is never ok to put up with any kind of abuse. Most abusive relations do not get better with hoping the person will change or hoping someone will save you. Asking for help is also ok and removing your self from the environment and situation should be their goal. Having a cop for a husband and hearing the horrific stories about situations like these makes my heart ache for anyone in this situation.
Now that I have said that, I do thank the writer for taking on such an emotional topic. I finished it because I wanted to writing an accurate review. All I can say is that this story isn’t for everyone.

Story
Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Sure, she was fired by her overly “friendly” boss, and yes, she still hasn’t gotten her mother into the nursing home of their dreams, but she’s healthy, she’s (somewhat) happy, and she’s (mostly) holding it all together. But when a mysterious SUV pulls up beside her, revealing Chinese cinema's golden couple Wei Fangli and Sam Yao, Gracie’s world is turned on its head. The famous actress has a proposition: Due to their uncanny resemblance, Fangli wants Gracie to be her stand-in.

I think this story is great to highlight subjects like mental health. The author does a great job to letting the readers know that it is ok to seek help for these diagnoses. I would like to have this subject explored more.
Also would love to have this story told in the Sam point of view. To get a different perspective on the same story.
