Story
Emma London never thought she had anything in common with her grandmother Genevieve London. The regal old woman came from wealthy and bluest-blood New England stock, but that didn't protect her from life's cruelest blows. Genevieve rose from the ashes of grief and built a fashion empire that was respected the world over, even when it meant neglecting her other son. When Emma's own mother died, her father abandoned her on his mother's doorstep. Genevieve took Emma in and reluctantly raised her - until Emma got pregnant her senior year of high school.

Wonderfully written…touching story
Reviewed: 02-27-23
This touching story of generations of family members and how their life choices affected not only their lives but the lives of their children and children’s children. It was so refreshing to read an entire book that told of all kinds of love and relationships between characters without explicit sex scenes in every other chapter.

Story
After years of move after move, Witness Protection settled Keira McKenna in Wyoming. Unfortunately, while Keira embraced her new small-town life, her larger-than-life past wouldn’t stay away. And with it, the one man she’d never forget. Four years ago, one massive mistake made Archer Reynolds resign from Boston’s police force. Moving home, he opened Reynolds Protective Group—an elite bodyguard agency—to atone for his failure. But when a series of crimes occur in town, he comes face-to-face with the woman whose name was apparently as fake as her death.

Too many sexual chapters
Reviewed: 02-23-23
I enjoyed the actual plot and characters and the actual story. I wanted the author to get back to the story instead of inserting so many explicit and on and on sexual chapters. Really don’t need all of the explicit and long descriptions of the sex lives. I finally just skipped ahead to get to the actual story

She writes wonderful stories with characters who pull you into their lives…..not sure why so many detailed sexual parts…definitely not needed in such detail. I actually skip through them to keep flow of story.
