This series has been a blast. I really enjoy the narration. Phil Thron is a pleasure to listen to.

After the end of the book there is a 'blooper' reel. It is Phil Thron laughing and flubbing lines.

What an AWESOME surprise. I was rolling.

After reading so many of the Star Force books and hearing Mark Boyett narrate them I was worried that hearing others narrate would be distracting or in some way a let down.

The cast is awesome. General Kerr is perfect.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: Ahsoka?

When she creates her new light sabers. That moment is VERY cool.

What does Ashley Eckstein bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Considering she voices Ahsoka in the Clone Wars and on Rebels she brings the exact character we have all grown to know and love.

Any additional comments?

Considering how tightly bound Ahsoka is to Anakin (Vader) it is amazing to see the flashbacks to that relationship. They are only fleeting moments in the book but very welcome.

Seeing how she gets her Lightsaber Crystals is pretty amazing. The explanation of the colors was very cool. Especially considering we have NEVER seen that color before in the Star Wars Cannon.

If you love Ahsoka you are going to LOVE this book.

Have you listened to any of Dina Pearlman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Dina Pearlman is a great narrator. I really have come to get used to her verbalizing each character.

Unfortunately for this book they recorded her in a room with no noise canceling. Her voice echos and makes the different voices she verbalizes sound the same.

Very distracting at first. Not sure why they did this book differently from ALL the others.

Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters Audiobook By Meg Meeker cover art

My Daughter means everything to me, now I know why

After reading this book, I understand what kind of impact I am having on her, and what impact I have had on her since the day I held her for the first time in the Hospital when she was only hours old.

I have recommended this book to every father I know, and I recommend it to you now.

It is not just what it tells you about what you need to do but what happens when you are not around. How, when you are not there, your daughter still thinks about you and what you have shown her, and how that shapes how she handles herself and the world around her.

The stories in the book really touch my heart. From the simple ones that make you smile to the heart wrenching ones that can make you weep out loud.

Lets not stop at how you effect your Daughter, this book also makes you realize how SHE shapes YOUR life. Once you read/listen to this book you will never look at a Victoria Secret cover the same again.

The world will look different in your eyes. It might look a little more dangerous in some ways and wonderful in others. All because your perspective has changed. You will start looking at things as how they would effect your little girl if she saw it.

It makes you realize, also, that how you treat your Wife in front of her can dictate how she will be treated by her husband and vice versa.

If you are a Man who has or is about to have a little girl then I ask you to read this book. It will help you and her for YEARS to come.

After I read the book I purchased it from audible.com so that I could listen to it when I drive.
