I really like that the book starts with an explanation of what affirmations are. The part about comparing facts and assumptions is very relatable. It's better to have facts about someone or something than to make assumptions. The term "valuable voice" stuck out to me. I've never thought about a voice and how valuable it is. For me, there are too many voices in the world talking at once sometimes. All you can do is take care of you. I think one of the first big steps for moving in that direction is to set goals. I'm glad this was covered. I was hoping for some relaxing music in the background when the 365 affirmations were being read by the narrator at the end of book.

If you were to make a list of all the things you would want to research before moving to Mexico, this book would help you to focus on what is important. It gives the audience starting points for each category, such as where to live as an expat, banking and healthcare. There were some things that I was not familiar with, such as certain regions of the country and the different types of recreational activities. It felt like a quick tour of what life would be like if someone from the US or Canada decides to move to Mexico.

I was born and raised in the US. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as School Counseling. Every parent of pre-school aged children needs to read or listen to this book. It covers almost every aspect of raising pre-school aged children and getting them ready for pre-school. When I was ready for pre-school, pre-school was not a part of the public school system. I went to a pre-school on the military base where my mom was stationed. Then I transitioned to kindergarten in the public school system. There wasn't a fee for me to attend pre-school. Pre-school in the US is called pre-kindergarten or pre-k. Head Start is a government program for pre-school aged children in mainly big cities, like Philadelphia, where there are a lot of children that come from low-income families. Head Start is a hybrid between a daycare/nursery and a pre-school. It's for children who are not getting taught at home the basics they will need when entering public school.

This book taught me so much. I raised 3 boys (my nephews) who attended pre-school in the 1990s. Each of them were different in how they communicated, reacted to things and learned. It felt like riding a carousel until they were in primary/elementary school. They all had different needs at different times. This book would have greatly helped me then. To say this book spoke to me as a mom/aunt, is an understatement. I could totally relate. I love that techniques used with autistic children are being used with other children. It seems like the education system is doing a better job at meeting children where they are at. This review would be super long if I talked about everything that I liked. The social stories and comic strip conversations really stood out to me as great teaching tools...and color coding the bubbles is a great idea. I loved learning about all of the ways kids can communicate with pictures especially the communication book. I loved learning how to teach young children how to do deep breathing exercises. There were many "Ah Ha!" moments for me. In addition, I can't stop thinking about pizza rainbows. If I were raising children in today's world, I would be joining the Facebook group and visiting the author's website. These would definitely be some of my go-to sources for parenting techniques, strategies and advice.

I've never had the opportunity to listen to a book laid out like this. Meditation has been a part of my life for many years. I definitely enjoyed the deep breathing exercises. Self-care is important for everyone. The soft music playing during the deep breathing exercises did have a relaxing effect on me. I like the idea of combining meditation with adult bedtime stories. I regularly fall asleep with my headphones on when I'm listening to a podcast. For me, listening to stories doesn't make me want to fall asleep. When I was a kid, I didn't like bedtime stories either. There may be a connection. When I was a kid, I liked to have my grandma read to me during the day. I know some people who had to have a bedtime story read to them as a kid or they couldn't fall asleep. How you fall asleep is a very personal thing.

This is a comprehensive book for those who have basic knowledge of the stock market. In my opinion, this is not a book for beginners. There are definitions of terms that are related to investing. However, you would already need to know the basics. The book reviews the pros and cons of investing. Real-life examples are given. Strategies are given for getting the most value out of the stock market. This includes how to minimize risks when investing. The narrator is very articulate and clear.

I love this book! It gives a wide range of activities to enjoy. It gives a great variety of places to stay from resorts to campsites. This book really does a great job of telling readers/listeners why Texas is a great place to vacation. I had no idea that Texas has so much to offer. If this book doesn't get you daydreaming about planning at least a week long vacation in Texas then no travel guide about Texas will. Attractions in big cities and small towns across all of Texas are included. For a small book, it really covers a lot of ground! The narrator definitely adds to the listening experience. This is a must listen!

This book is a true journey. It leads teens through what it takes to be a real-world entrepreneur. It's about teaching them how to sell a real product or service that can potentially give them financial freedom. There are some lessons in this book that some adults could benefit from. Teens are taught some very valuable skills that will benefit them throughout life. There are little golden nuggets like how you should choose a business that benefits the world so you are giving back while making an income. One of my favorite sections of the book is about how teens can discover their passions. I believe this is one of the first steps to building a financially stable future. I love the overall message of if this is what you want to do then this is what you need to do to get there...and this is what you need to do to grow. This is so powerful. Great job!
