Knowledge is power. That would be the motto of Lander University, had it not been snatched up and used to death by others long before the school was founded. For while Lander offers a full range of courses to nearly all students, it also offers a small number of specialty classes to a very select few. Lander is home to the Hero Certification Program, a curriculum designed to develop students with superhuman capabilities, commonly known as Supers, into official Heroes.

this person , that person said. I genuinely tried, however this is very poorly written. mostly done in second and third person format. I made it three hours before I gave up. this will be the second book I have ever returned. congratulations you made my poor author list. the performance was mediocre at best. I think with better writing the narration could have been better.

Story
When an invitation to try a cutting-edge game promising darkly sensual adventure drops in Abram's lap, it's an offer he can't refuse. After all, as an agoraphobe who never leaves his apartment, his social life is defined by, and limited to, games. Yet an interesting premise quickly shows its dark side as his mind is filled with memories of unspeakable torment, forcing him to rely on his meta-knowledge just to stay sane. The game is like nothing he's ever played: It has no tutorial, no HUD, no levels, no experience system, no respawns, and no mercy.

in no way would a person log into a game to be abused, tortured, and or raped. I can overlook a lot of BS to stay in a storyline, this is just stupid.

In The Waste, every fantasy creature, fairytale demon, or mythological monster exists. From orcs, to neriads, ogres, trolls, wraiths, elves, harpies, and even beastmen. They all exist, and all despise humankind. In the ruins of the west and east coasts, new governments have arisen. With new jobs. Vince is a Ranger, a profession whose sole job duty is surviving in the waste, and taking missions from the Ranger Guild. Be it courier services, escorts, or simply exploring tombs and cities.

just not written very well, if your into beastiality and an abundance of poorly written sex scenes than this book may be for you.
I don't mind sex scenes and harem stuff, I just prefer them as part of the story instead of separate. I also like to have them written a little better.
Miss Parsneau was good, just not much material to work with.

Story
My name's Noah Kilmartin. I'm from Ruddock, Ohio, and I'm just about 50 percent unqualified to save the universe from the slavering demonic hordes of the super evil bitch queen Lilith. But just when I thought things were starting to look up...My companions and I arrive in Tagimron, the sphere of discordance. It's a hellscape on wheels, and every aspect of this claustrophobic and grimy world is intent on tearing my companions and I apart. Our only chance of resisting corruption and failure is to hold fast to the bonds that unite us, the love and faith that keep us strong.

irritated with MC
Reviewed: 07-01-21
I really enjoy the series but every fight the MC gets into, he is either saved during the fight or rescued afterwards. I have trouble remembering any fight that the MC has been in, wether it be 1 on 1 or a large battle where he was not saved.
I am now halfway through the Raven's of Death book and so far it is the same.

Story
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down, organized crime syndicates to break. Gus’ life had been a tedium. That was before Melody, a contractor, more or less blew his life up as if it were a building packed full of C-4. Then helped him make a new life, which he himself ended blowing up. A cushy new job with the FED, thrown out the window with a single gunshot. All based on an assumption of who was working for who, and that he’d been on the wrong side of the equation.

I like the series and the multi-verse as a whole.
this book was quite a bit weaker than the other two.
Frankly I finished this book because Andrea Parsneau kept the book interesting. I was really getting tired of Gus being able to destroy just about anything and everything one minute, then have to be saved the next. the whole series was like this however this book took it to a different level. I would say do not skip this book and leave an honest review.
