Story
Hey you guys, it’s Leslie. I’m excited to share my story with you. Now, I’m gonna be honest: Some of the details might be vague because a b*tch is fifty-five and she’s smoked a ton of weed. But while bits might be a touch hazy, I can promise you the underlying truth is REAL.

Beautiful story

Fantastic performance, beautiful story of determination and grit. I would recommend this to anyone even if they weren’t a fan of Joey the comedian because he isn’t trying to be funny or make it a bit it’s sincere and heart wrenching. I cried when his mother passed and the story of him trying to dig up her grave. Just absolutely heart felt no bullshit honest great memoir.

Story
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Story
If your funny older sister were the former deputy chief of staff to President Barack Obama, her behind-the-scenes political memoir would sound something like this. Who Thought This Was a Good Idea? is an intimate and admiring portrait of a president, a candid book of advice for young women, and a promising debut from a savvy political star.

As someone who is equally obsessed with comedy writers and politicians memoirs this is the perfect blend of both! Alyssa is hilarious and honest, its so good to know that someone so grounded and amazing was a powerful person in the Obama administration. I would read another book if she wrote it!

Story
Corinne and Krystyna are tired of books that pander to women like they're hot messes, unable to handle their emotions without the assistance of a man, a glass of rosé, and a Xanax. This audiobook will teach the listener, be they male, female, transgender, or undecided, that you deal with shit, you brush your shoulder off, and you move the f--k on. In a society where it has, for some reason, become chic to be the victim, they say this pity party ends now.

I have been a long time fan of the podcast and I think that this book was a fantastic culmination of all of the amazing lessons I have learned from listening to you guys. Thank you for writing just the right book for just the right time. I will probably listen to this at least 10 more times to catch anything I missed.
