Prophecy or Fiction?!

This was a great box set. The stories all connected well and the narration was very good. I felt like I was in the Colorado apocalypse. The scary part of these stories was that they could happen. If you want a good story wrapped around the issues with an EMP attack this is it. Highly recommend.

We hide in shadows. Our planet is lost. We are the last humans, and we must go home. Two thousand years ago, aliens destroyed Earth. Our fleets shattered. Billions died. The last humans fled a burning planet, heading to the stars. Today we are still refugees. Hungry. Afraid. Our enemies hunt us everywhere. So we hide. On distant asteroids. In rundown space stations. In deep caves on frozen worlds. And we dream. Of green hills. Blue skies. Golden fields. We dream of Earth. And for the first time, we have hope.

The story is far into the future where Earth has been lost to invasion. Now humans are scattered and hunted by alien scorpions. Hated by most of the crazy alien species. This Milky Way galaxy is filled with every type of alien you can think of. The story was good but it’s the set up novel. Good action and a fast pace. The narrator does a good job.

Well it took me 2 days to finish, while working full time. It was great. Reese was great as usual. The pacing and story kept me locked in and I’m hoping Jack Carr isn’t predicting the future too closely. Something makes me think real AI isn’t going to be as principled as Alice. Some nods to other writers and 007. I got some but need to listen again to try and get the others. Definitely recommend.

The few thousand surviving humans live on a massive airship that circles the Earth, moving with the rotation of the planet so it's always in sunlight.

I loves this trilogy. A different kind of magic wielding then others. We have dragons, bad guys, queens, dwarves and elves! And to top it all off my favorite narrator for fantasy. Tim Reynolds could probably make the drug side affects listing sound incredible. The story was engaging and built upon each other. Loved it.
