After nearly four years, the zombie epidemic has almost burned itself out. Once a lone survivor on the brink of insanity, Gus Berry has a new life on a communal farm, his daily routine of policing the fields only rarely disrupted by straying undead. Gus’s drinking binges are over, and the dark days of Annapolis are soon to be a distant memory. But his troubles are far from over . . .

The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.

Amazing work bringing the comics to life
Reviewed: 08-15-20
I have been a huge fan of the Sandman since highschool in the early 90's and the cast did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. I can't recommend this highly enough if you like Gaiman's work or want to check it out for the first time.

Story
When smart-aleck, down-on-his-luck bounty hunter Anderson Gunn snags his next job, he’s just happy to get the gig. The target he’s chasing may be wanted for murder, but his bills aren’t going to pay themselves. As it turns out, he probably should've been more selective. When he tracks down Cameron Kovak, the wanted man turns out to be no man at all. Gunn finds himself face to face with a tentacled creature out of Ridley Scott’s worst nightmare - a baby Cthulhu, wearing his target's skin like a onesie. And that's just the start of it.

Story
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

This hit too close to home.
Reviewed: 03-10-19
As someone who grew up in Appalachia, the problems Vance dealt with hit too close to home to my experiences. I have seen many reviews of the book and movie claiming that Vance was making unjustifiably making Appalachia look bad and not a true native of area. while this may not represent all of Appalachia, many of my family members and I have discussed this and it matches the experiences we saw and still deal with today.
