The story of this book is fantastic! I have to admit that I got a little bored of the lessons taught, definitions, examples.. The narrator has a fantastic voice!
The only thing I was disappointed in was the very end. I need to know what happened.

I had read good reviews and people had told me this was a great book but DAMN.. I’m not Catholic but know enough to follow the lingo, etc. Dierra Simone, you wrote an amazing book! After reading this, I immediately want to get all the others.
The narration was amazing. Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe were outstanding! Yes, I’m in love with Father Bell and might visit every confessional until I find one that sounds like the one in this book. What could go wrong?

Didn’t want book to end..

I’m a huge Darynda Jones / Charlie Davidson fan so I was a little leery. Especially with a kick butt lead with a cute daughter.
Nope, it sucked me in. Especially, with its quirky characters and the little things that still made the book relatable to real life. Man, I hope no one gives me basket of muffins.
Then the book ended and I feel crushed. I’m not ready! Darynda, I need more.. There are questions I need answered. Please hurry and write the next one.

Omg!! I read this book at work and was a sobbing, snot filled mess! Total ugly crier. The entire book isn’t going to make you ugly cry, I promise. Bink will slowly put you back together. Maybe.

I really tried to like this book. The first book ended in a total cliffhanger so I definitely had to read this. To be honest, Sam just made me mad in this book! She comes across as a whiny, self absorbed brat. Let me also say that I might be too old for this book. Lol! I was given a copy to read and to leave an honest review of. This book would be better aimed towards a teen.

I shouldn’t be attracted to fire captain Cameron McClain, but I am. He’s too old for me, too alpha for my tastes, and too bossy in the bedroom. Though I have to admit he knows exactly how to use his...firehose. I’m not interested in a forever kind of relationship, but he’s down for whatever I’m willing to give. Our arrangement is perfect. At least that's how it begins. I never wanted the happily ever after, but he’s just so tempting. The smart choice would be to end things before they combust, but for some reason I can’t push Cam away.

Bink you left me ugly crying at work!
I should just leave it at that but this book is amazing. I was hooked right from the beginning.
Both Mags and Lachlan had demons to deal with and they helped slay them together.
Really, you’ll fall in love with these characters and not want the book to end! I need to know what happens with Pip.
The narration was amazing also! Tracy Marks does a hell of a job. Really, how do you do Lachlan’s voice? Wow!
