How gory, and full of unexplained holes!! The author making people do things for the sake of trying to create drama! The people in the story were not clearly defined either.

Story
A young woman disappears and is feared dead, potentially murdered by her abusive husband—a handsome, shady thug with a violent reputation. But as detectives Carly Sanderson and Sergio Martin look into the matter, they can’t find a body, and the husband has an iron-clad alibi. He was killed earlier the same day. Soon, it is obvious that no one connected to the case is telling the truth—not the mother who says the husband did it, not the sister who may have played a role in the crime, not the husband’s meticulous daily calendar…Maybe not even the dead woman herself.

Story
Two days ago, everything changed. Two days ago, the people I should trust the most became strangers in my convoluted head. The dreams I have can't be real. The fleeting memories that whisper through my mind are scary and wrong...they have to be. If they aren't, I have something much worse to fear than my fractured mind. I need to find out the truth, even if it destroys me.

I did not like this at all. The whole story just kept being filled with ruts and there was no way out. The whiny protagonist just could not get her act together and seemed to be caught in a mesh without wanting to get out!! It was deeply frustrating.
