I came into reading this book after reading at two series of Irish books, I had a slow start on chapter 1… This book has a wonderful storyline. Wonderful buildup of characters and hot, hot hot. The steam took a while to get there and I kept wondering well where is it and then well I got there and I went whoop baby all I enjoyed it to the end, including the ending, which had a well-rounded ending and did not leave me on a cliffhanger. I love that.

Samantha Jameson finds herself washed up on Siren Island - well, if she was to be honest with herself, more like worn-out, defeated, and dead tired. Her whole life has been spent playing by the rules, and for what? An empty apartment, a career with no upward movement, and one failed relationship after another. When it all blows up in her face, what’s a girl to do but book a last-minute trip to the ridiculously named Laughing Mermaid Bed & Breakfast on an unknown speck of an island in the Caribbean?

A another review had mentioned this particular storyline, so when it came up that I had nothing to read, I tried it. I love the gal that reads them. It makes it sound fantastic at least to my ears. I felt the storyline was really great though. It hit Home quite a lot. I have a family that’s just like the one in the story. It was kind of a hard read for me.. and the female character doesn’t quite get over the hump, though she does when her Prince charming
